I unfortunately am not an expert on endame, but love the protein count and high fiber in a half cup. I throw it in stir fries and in salads. I also like it with Sambal hot sauce or soy sauce.
I can only get it frozen in my small town.

I also put tofu in salads or stir fries. I also like it in Thai curries.

One of my favorite tofu recipes was to dip slices in egg beaters, then cornstarch, and then brown it in a frying pan. When done, pour Bangkok Padang Peanut sauce over it. However, since learning that cornstarch is loaded with carbs, I am investigating baking the tofu, then using the sauce.

I also am trying to find a good tahini marinade to use on the tofu.

I kept up my cardio the whole time I did IP..then added resistance in the last few months.

I make a tofu quiche that the whole family loves - it's made with a pie crust but my latest thought is that I bet it would be great with a zucchini crust...I'll pm you with the recipe...it's actually vegan but if you want you can replace the nutritional yeast with parmesan.

Samyswan: Maintenance is learning and finding our way. I wish you well on Phase 1. There is a security to Phase 1 with all of those packets and the best thing is that it does work! Have a good week.

Ishbel: I agree with Gika..experimenting with changes might help you. Hang in there..It is so hard with no weight loss!

Gika..It sounds like your reboot is going well. The thyroid is tricky. are you going to do another test? My ketones were high in my last test due to all of the protein we eat.

Tracy: Great news on going down a pound on P3. Your breakfast sounds yummy. My arms also were the last to show definition in my loss.

Lee. That is wonderful hitting a new low on your scale! Plus you are moiving to Phase 2. You are doing it! You are so close to your desired 40!

2Ride: I wish you and Rebel well in your exercise efforts. it seems to me that you are snowed in up there. I know you will figure out Phase 4 and losing. You are too strong and determined not to do it! I hope your long job commute is not getting difficult with snow and ice.

Mom2cs: I went through that also..not losing for 3 weeks...then it kicked in. I am glad you are losing again.

I went to see a skin doctor yesterday. He told me that the new wrinkles are mainly caused by age, lifestyle (growing up in Hawaii)..and partially by fat loss under the skin. He said the rate of loss did not affect the skin.
However, the skin's ability to bounce back, depends on your age. You younger people should be just fine! I may further investigate skin improvement as I am older!

Here is a not so nice quote for the saboteurs:
"Your opinion of me is none of my business."

I cut my tofu, drain it on paper towels for 15 minutes, then spray with Pam and bake for 15 minutes or so, until browned. I then continue with whatever recipe I am using. Also good just like that. Easy and yummy.

Been away from this thread for a while -- so much going on -- but, it is reassuring to see posts from familiar people.

Maintenance is what it is ... like a lot of you, I've been struggling. I get in the mind set that I am going to do P1 again for a reboot -- so I do P1 for a day and then weigh myself the next day and go down 1 or 2 pounds and think "well, maybe I'll just be good for the next week and re-evaluate then". I justify that thinking by -- I'll use P1 when I really need it -- because I don't know if going on P1 on and off is good or not. I have to psych my body out -- because it turns on me -- more than just the weight problem.

Anyway, the week following my "decision" I really do a P4 like I should and go back down to just about goal and then comes the cheat day again. I think -- "well, I'll do a restricted cheat day". Ha! Generally it get's out of control.

I'll be 55 in April -- so I'd really like to be more in control by then -- but, I fear that will not happen.

I've been reading your posts and I think I'm not nearly as disciplined as you are.

Anyway, I guess I'm just blathering on -- because I can. =)

Tracy: I would love that quiche recipe. Thanks.

Mamazu: Thanks so much for that recipe. That is exactly what I was looking for..how to bake it. ..plus not using oil!

Lone Loser: You are not alone in your struggles. I hope you feel more in control by your birthday. I think the important thing is that you are still strong, and you still working on learning how to maintain. Hope you have a good week.

I wish March would hurry up so I can change my stats to 5 months of maintenance! LOL.

You look amazing! That is a very inspirational loss! I understand you about not feeling like that person yet. It takes a while to get used to seeing that thin person in mirror. I still am not quite used to it.
I also agree with you about a relaxed meal on the free day. That is what I do also.

Congratulations on reaching your goal..within one pound!

I have to go back to Phase 1... My weight is up. I blame the no-wheat experimentation and my hubby finding loads of delicious things not made with wheat. Unfortunately, they are still made with CARBS.

Happy Monday everyone. I need to plan my week since I will be traveling Wed through Friday... Sometimes it seems easier to travel than to be at home.

Even though I feel fat, I have to remember that I still fit into a size 6 and still got a ton of compliments yesterday at the Cabi show I hosted.
