My original goal was 140, but I never quite got that low. Im now at 147, and have decided to stick with phase 1 until I hit 140 or my dh makes his goal, which is about 30 or 40 more pounds.
I am completely satisfied on phase 1, and this way I can make us the same thing every day.
I think my longer term realistic maintenance weight will be closer to 145. I just have too much muscle to stay much lower...
Momto2cs: It sounds like you have a good plan and are on your way to reaching your goal. There is a satisfaction to Phase 1 where you can easily plan what you are going to eat everyday!
Maintain: So far my new recipes have not been too exciting..but were a lot of work!
Ish: I would also plug your meals into a tracker to check the numbers! However, that breakfast looks good..just check the protein, carbs, fats,.
Gika: I was pleased to see weight loss continue. Yesterday I lost another inch and a half from my previous coach check. Hopefully it is muscle.
Mom3: You can do it. It does get hard to stay focused with everyone telling you how great you look, and it slowing down. I like HealthSmart Cinnamon cereal from Nashua.
Progress in maintenance: I bought a fitted salmon colored pair of capris. I went home and was happy about the new purchase. I realized later that I did not jump into my neurotic fear that occurred months ago..of buying a low size and then worrying about whether I would still fit it in the next few months.
I saw my coach yesterday. We calculated that I have lost 14 inches from my waist! That was a huge amount of extra inches I was carrying!!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions, I actually did put it in to fatsecret. Although! I don't see on my phase 3 sheet that it could be no more then 50 grams total. I do see the 30 grain carbs/20 fruit carbs/15 fat and 120 diary and 400-500 calories. I guess it makes sense but it wasn't specific on my sheet.
So thanks for the tip Paintlady, I did 'shave' some from the muffin to get the total carbs down AND include an egg so now I'm feeling much more comfortable for next week's Phase 3.
Although, not losing two weeks in a row is very frustrating and to top it all of someone told me flat out yesterday that "you should stop losing weight you look sick" and I said "Pardon me? No I do NOT look sick and I'm not going to stop" she said "yes you do!" So I glared and walked away, but I was furious!
What did you guys/gals say to those people on your 'journey'??
Hi All,
How long did it take you all to lose the last 10 lbs, 2 months? 3 months? I would appreciate your reponse. I still have 12 lbs to goal and need some motivation.
Thanks a bunch
I don't do myfitnesspal. I'm on fatsecret and here. That's enough for me.
Oops, ok, I get the names of the two confused. I'm on both, but I only really use MFP.
I started a new thread to compile info on what alternative products are the same as IP products. I know a couple of you have recently mentioned products you've found that are in the same packaging. Please contribute to the list!

I think I signed up for MFP at some point, and then didn't like the mobile app and so don't use it at all...
It's a kind of flatbread like a wrap but it's rectangular and quite large so good for a bread base - I toast it first in the oven and then throw stuff on it - I think it would also be a good with almond/pb though I haven't tried that yet. I get it at my regular grocery store - stop and shop or market basket. I'll try to post a link...
Ishbel - I am on myfitnesspal - same U/N. I'm on my 6th day of P3 and happy to share info/food diary etc.
Has anyone tried the powdered peanut butter PB2 (comes in a choc/pb mix too)? I'm not too hung up on fat but it's lower calorie and yummy when added to a shake. I'm thinking the shiratake noodles stir fried in coconut oil and powdered peanut might approximate a nice Thai dish...
Also - so it was hammered into me that the only difference between P1 and P2 was that lunch changed. But now (midway into P3) I noticed that although P1 dinner protein was upped to 8 oz that didn't translate into P2 and I've kept up my increased dinner protein. Has everyone lowered their protein? I'm still losing in P3 even with the big breakfast and higher protein and so I'm reluctant to mess with it.
And I'm glad to hear other people get cold - sometimes in the house I just walk around with a comforter wrapped around myself!

Maile: congratulation first on your weight loss but more importantly congrats on your MAINTENANCE. Without experiencing neurotic fear buying a low size means that you've reached maintenance in your head as well as your body!!! Salmon capris sound cute... I might need those for our upcoming vaca to Maui. Where'd you find them?

Thanks Lee... I started FatSecret but MFP (my username: willowgirl11) is easier to use on my phone which makes instant tracking so much easier.
I've been IP products since Sept. As I prepare to "phase out"... starting phase 2 today... I plan on using alternative products. I've been researching a little... I'll contribute to the list once my order arrives. I'm starting with Nashua.
Congrats on 14 inches from your waist and new little pants Maile! That is exciting.
I'll send you a friend request bigpassport on MFP. I use it religiously and friends = accountability! I will try to figure out who the others are as well.
Desperate - I think it took me 3 months or so to lose the last 10 lbs on maintenance. Much slower than phase 1.
I just suffered through 3 solid days of phase 1 to compensate for a full weekend of general free range eating and bad living. I had headaches, fatigue and was freezing cold, but managed to get back to 158 this morning. Thank goodness! I had pancakes for breakfast and I already feel better!

I asked a similar question a few days ago.... basically everyone agrees that the last few pounds are the hardest and take the longest to get off.
I have 15 lbs to go until my goal and have been stuck at the same weight for a few weeks. It's rather discouraging!
I just sent MFP friend requests to Pxlkitty4, Ishbel, and Maintainisgoal (willowgirl11). Did I miss anyone who wants to play on the MFP playground?
ME! I'm Cajunladybug22.
