Hi all, My name is Diana and I am 26 years old. Been married for a little over a year now and decided that it was time to become more healthy. I have been battling with weight loss due to PCOS, as well IBS. The IBS really flares up when i eat fiber so i was very nervous going into this diet. But I have to say that its truly not been an issue. I feel free! although i know it could return, i have not had a severe flare up! I still have another 10 lbs to loose But i know i can do this.

Welcome Diana, Glad to hear that your medical issues have stopped. That is one thing about this program, it seems to help with a lot of issues besides the weight issues we all have had. You will lose that 10lbs in no time. Good luck to you in becoming a healthier new bride :)

Ok now that I have read hours and hours and hours on this site about this diet and I have posted a few times and I decided that I should introduce myself now. ;)

My name is Leanne, I just got married Aug 7th 2010. My husband and I have been trying to have a child over the past years (yes before we were married lol) on and off and continuously for about the last year. After numerous attempts to get my body to "cooperate" (I have PCOS and pre-type 2 diabetic) with fertility medications...my body has failed me too many times to count. I have suffered with weight ALL my life, and have tried SEVERAL diets and "pills" (adipex 37.5mg, Xenadrine EFX, wellbutrin etc etc) and while I have lost weight on these products and diets I seemed to have gained it all back once I stopped the pills. I am hoping this is the diet for me and I get the results I so desire, and it trains me to look at food differently. I know I am addicted to carbs and sugar right now, which I know IP is supposed to help "retrain" your mind/pancreas to not crave those items.

While I am worried obviously about losing hair, and excess skin...I know it will be worth it.

I am just anxiously awaiting for the rest of my "products" to arrive in the mail (which should be within the next week) :)

Sorry to ramble! I look forward to meeting you all and have want to congratulate all of you who have had such wonderful success on this diet!!

Welcome, this site can become over whelming sometimes trying to gather and read all of the information, its like you can't stop reading. I have to say this has been the program for me and a lot of us that is for sure. I do believe you will do very well on this program and retraining yourself with food. Its a very easy program just very VERY strict!! but it is worth being strict for when you see the pounds and inches falling off of you. I have over 100lbs gone so far and I really don't have a lot of loose skin, I will probably have it once I lose the other 80 I want to lose but I will deal with that when the time comes. I use resistant band, that seems to help out a lot. Good luck to you :)

CysterLeanne 12-08-2011 06:03 PM

Thanks Wuv :)

It's almost like I "can't" stop reading it though haha! I just keep reading and searching as I come up with questions. Would you mind sending me a pm with what you exercises you do with the resistance band? I would ideally like to lose 168ish lbs. (I am 25 and weigh 303lbs right now :/ ) I would be happy to get down to 180 though as well. I will just see how it goes and go from there.

Hi, My name is Gayle and I will be starting IP next week. I went to a seminar and signed up and it was suggested I wait until after New Years to start. I have been reading posts on this site for days and hope I will be as successful as everyone else on this site.
I have a question regarding navigating this site. What is the easiest way to find replys to my posts? I have posted a couple times and can never find my posts again. LOL

Welcome Gayle, easiest way until you get used of it is to subscribe to the thread or alert with an email to your post that is the easiest. Or you can just keep checking where you posted, but for me its the email until I got used of it then you can unsubscribe.

Welcome, don't be nervous, it is easier than you think just strict. Keep an open mind to new things and you will be just fine. You may not have a bad first week, I didn't have any problems my first week and I know there have been several others the same way. Hang it there its worth it:)
