Hello! I’m excited to finally be joining you.

My husband and I have been looking into this diet for a few weeks and we’re going for our official first consultation today (in just a few minutes) so we’ll be starting the diet tomorrow. I know we made the right decision to wait until after Thanksgiving, but I feel like I’ve been waiting forever to get started.

I found this forum in my initial internet searches and I’ve been lurking ever since. It’s nice to go into the meeting with a wealth of knowledge from all of you to back me up! I’ll be interested to see if I hear anything new or different from the coach.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!
(hope this posts in the right place)

Welcome Ruby, this is a great site for information. You will notice that there are a lot of differences in the coaches ways but you go with your own coaches suggestions. We know what works for us, I have been on the program now for 30 weeks. You will learn a lot, and you may even bring something we don't know to the table as well. Share as much as you can, this is how we are all going to get through this journey together. Welcome to the IP family :)

My name is Jennifer I'm from Ontario, Canada. I am the proud momma of three great kids 15,13 and 8.

Just about to embark on my weight loss adventure and really looking forward to it, I have been reading on here for a few days now and am encouraged by all the sucess stories. I dont have a whole lot of weight to lose but its more the inches that I would like to see gone.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on here.

Make it a great day!

Introduction

Hi Everyone,

I've posted a couple of times, but I'm really just getting going on IP and 3FC. My name is Sheryl and I live in Reston, VA. I'm an engineer and work full-time for a consulting firm. I have a great spouse and two teenage boys - 13 and 15. They are a pain in the neck but a joy just the same. They eat constantly yet both are slim and trim due to teenage hormones and athletics.

Anyway, I've done every diet known to man and read all the diet books. I've never had so much success with a diet before. I'll be 50 in 9 days, and while I'm happy now and feel in control, I'm annoyed that I wasted my 40s overweight and frustrated. I've lost 14 lbs so far but need to lose another 40. At least now I know I can do this!

Thanks for all the great inspiration and tireless support you all give. :)

Hi Everyone!

My name is Nadia and I am from Kingston, Ontario. I just started the IP diet on Thursday, and I almost quit on Monday...but I decided I can't keep quitting on all my diet attempts and was promised by my coach that I would see amazing results if I just make it through the first week. And I have to say, if it wasn't for your supportive comments on this forum, I would have probably quit already. Im 25 yrs old, starting at 210lbs and Im only 5'2". My goal is around 120-130 lbs. Im very excited but also skeptic about actually reaching my goal weight after years of failed diet attempts. Im hoping this is my last diet. so far today is Day 7 and Im down 7 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I commend you all on your BRILLIANT progress!!!!

Pamelama 12-08-2011 12:09 PM

Hi! I've already posted a few times but just found this thread.

I'm Pam and I'm from "warm" CA. (not so warm now. We're having a bit of a cold spell...yes I know, we're wimps when it gets below 60 degrees) :-)

I'm married nearly 25 years, a 13 yr old DD and an 18 yr old DS at home. I've struggled with my weight my entire life, usually about 20 lbs or so. I used to be able to lose it easily, but always gained it back.
Fast forward about 7 years ago...weight starts piling on every year. No matter what I do (and I've done everything) can't get it to get off. I'm now the biggest I've ever been with about 65 pounds to lose. I have "weird" health issues as well that have gotten progressively worse over the past 7 years. My gut (no pun intended) tells me it's all related to food, inflammation and weight. I'm praying this is the answer I've been looking for.
I look forward to sharing our experiences and successes together!

Pam
