Welcome Tammy, this is a great program. When you say a lot of weight to lose? I have loss over 100lbs so far and still have another 80 or so to go so with that being said THIS PROGRAM DOES WORK. You will find lots of information, recipes and support here. I will attach the sheet that I have been following since April 2011, I think they have a new one but not sure. Never be afraid to ask a question, there is always someone around to help you or to give you support. If you are on Facebook, look for the group Southern 3FC, I created a group so that we can all talk there and get quicker responses if needed or you can add me Lisa Campisi Corner. Good luck in your journey, and again welcome to the extend IP Family

Hello to all...
I am new to IP. This is my 2nd week, and tomorrow will be my 2nd weigh in..
I have a lot of weight to lose and have been BIG my entire life..
I'd love to make friends and get/give support.
:)

I'm new too. I had my consultation a couple of weeks ago but was going out of town, so I start the program tomorrow. I am so ready to get started!

Sara, quick question - what type of IP alternative products are you using? i have a consultation on weds to start the program, but i'm still having a hard time justifying the cost. i'm torn; it's clear this program works wonderfully, but not being able to eat/socialize "normally" AND spending so much money is kind of a hard pill to swallow. not to mention, i'm starting this program at the worst time of the year, and i imagine i'll need a few extra weeks to get over the holidays.

any help is appreciated :)

hi everyone!

I haven't formally introduced myself so here goes.

My name is Sara and I am a stay at home Mom to our 3 wonderful children. There names and ages are in my siggy. :)

I have been slowly losing weight for the last 2 year in between being pregnant. I was 234 lbs at my highest non-pregnant weight (at least that's the last number I remember 'seeing') and today I weigh 167 lbs. I started following the IP plan 4 weeks ago tomorrow and have lost 17.8 lbs. I am using strictly alternative products since there are no coaches where I live and I can't get any IP items. So, I am saving money and losing weight = a win, win!

I found this forum 3-4 weeks before I started the plan and I cannot thank everyone enough for all of their advice and encouragement. I definitely feel at home here amongst friends.

Good luck on your first couple of days!!....your body will go through detox so it could be a little rough but just remember its only for a few days :)

Hey Des, here!
I been on IP for about a month and am happy but having troubles getting it going. I know these are excuses but with holidays my mom passed, a cruise and now more holidays coming I always find food around!

I went shopping today and bought lots of healthy greens, my cukes and lettuce. Healthy proteins, fish and am really ready to stick to it. I think once it starts coming off it will give me incentive.

Im from NH, and the weather has been really crazy. We had snow on Halloween, and its 60 today and Christmas is coming. Odd!!!

Well have a great day to all!
:o

You can do it desiree, food will always be around, we need it to keep us going BUT its the choices you make while eating them that will make the difference. Remember the holidays are about family and friends NOT about the food. Yes, in society today its about food but YOU can be different and being different will and can make you stronger. Think about how much better you will feel with the weight off next year, h*ll for that matter think about how you will feel in a few weeks!!....you will feel better and your clothes will fit better and may even drop down a size or 2...YOU CAN DO IT!!!....WE are all here for you!!
