I have no idea. I have read of ppl using some of an IP shake or pudding in their coffee though. You are allowed 1 ounce of milk, and others suggest Torani sugar free syrups. Perhaps you can come up with someone OP that works for you.
I am struggling tonight, really really wanting to eat something else . . . almost anything will do. Talking myself off the ledge . . .

Coliep ...... Don't! Go read your post from earlier this week about the consequences of cheating ( I think u posted one) AND it is too close to making it through the day........

You know you can do it.
I made my kids enchiladas for supper and it was so hard not being able to have at least a little cheese while grading it, but I did it!
I sorta did it. I ended up having a 4th IP packet as hot chocolate and then I had a little cheat of a 100 calorie pack of Cocoa Almonds. While clearly not OP, they have no added sugar, only 100 cals, some fiber and I think 1 or 2 net carbs. Could be worse. Cravings not gone, but I know I don't want to do further damage . . . . so I will go to sleep. C'mon miraculous 5 pound loss so I can be almost done with Phase 1!!!!!!!!!!111
I am dying for some real exercise, too. Maybe a good run this week . . .
I thought I would miss wine but the weight loss is way more worth it than drinking it. I have been buying different types of tea. Maybe replace the beer with iced tea with lime or lemon wedges. I drink my in a wine glass with crushed ice. a new routine/habit
Good idea about the wine glass. I'll have to try that! I DO miss my wine, but you're right, the weight loss makes it worth it. After all, it's not forever, right?? (I hope!)
Well...I survived 6 whole days so far on IP. I may have ate later than I wanted but by golly I did not cheat. I actually thrive on repetition so I look forward to when I can pick up my new order of food for week 2 on Tuesday. I can tell you that I hated the puddings (ugggggggh) but I got a fantastic suggestion from here to make them into a cake/muffin and it actualy was better to have something more solid to eat AND I LIKED IT!!!!!
The only time I get hungry is if I get too busy and I wind up eating later. I'm determined not to cheat. Things that were under my nose this week that I wanted but did not cheat:
Pizza~fresh baked sugar cookies~icecream~balsamic vinegar~
I'm going ot keep posting and keep looking to this great forum. Thank Goodness for 3FC!!!
Emmie - I don't live alone either, so I cannot remove everything from my house. Personally, I think it is important that we learn to co-exist with everything, includnig tempting foods. Through this diet / life change, we will learn to say no and reprogram our bodies to not want it. That said, everybody has a particular weakness. Mine are ice cream and peanut butter. I am able to resist the ice cream on this diet (along with all the fruit, forbidden veggies, sauces, kid snacks etc.), but the peanut butter kept getting me so I did finally remove it. Perhaps you should remove your greatest temptation or two? In the end, I would do what makes it easieset for you to succeed while attempting to set lifetime habits!
I live on the Organic Romaine, too. Our local store had them 2 for 5 and I have eaten tons and tons. I am not a huge fan of it just raw, but I do stir fry it up and have a nice little meal when I feel the need. Keep in mind that should change, too. I am eating fewer bowls of lettuce than I was in week 1!!
So somebody said to me today "Oh, I think I can see a little weight loss.". Well, you might think YEAH. BUT, I was more like "really, you are just now able to see a little?" I have lost 9 pounds and have 11 to go. Perhaps its just not that noticeable, or perhaps she was being a little passive aggressive (she is thin and fit, but with an air of superiority). IDK but for some reason I didn't take as well as one may have thought. I guess I was hoping for a dramatic shift given all the sacrifices / changes this diet has entailed!
Thanks. My weakness is cinnamon toast! I LOVE it. So I guess no bread in the house.
I'm thinking the "thin and fit" girl might be afraid you are going to look a lot better than she does when it's all said and done!
