Sorry, I don't think we have any WW people here and we only have one unlimited item on the IP diet and that is lettuce. From my old old school WW days, I believe the "free" veggies were those where the carbs were negated by the fiber so things like celery and lettuce. Don't quote me on that though. I think you may have better luck getting an accurate answer from a WW thread and I am guessing there are some pretty good ones on 3FC website!

Get a buddy, text them, IM them, get on line, so someone can telll you NOT to, plus gets your mind off it for a minute, sometimes we are **** bent to the cheat food, if we derail ourselves a minute it will do the trick. Just a suggestion.

Human nature. We want what we want when we want it. Even if we are NOT supposed to have it. It makes me feel 5 years old again.

I am sure someone told you, but this is not a WW post, we are doing the Ideal Protein, however, I quit WW to do this and the zero points veggies are the foods/veggies primarily you can eat that do not go towards your daily pts target. YOur coach can give you a list OR if you do it online, you can find it there.

Perhaps I should just literally bang my head into a wall, since that is, in essence, what I am doing as I repeat the same mistake lol! I threw it out AND know that I should just start snacking on my veggies and NOT let myself get too hungry. coincidence or not, my first PB cheat was the day after a workout just as this one was. I wonder if there is something physiological going on? That said, had I had my food ready and waiting I know I wouldn't have cheated. I need to remind myself, Hunger Is NOT An Emergency. So even when I cannot eat when I need to, I will survive even if it meant I would get shakier, grumpier and foggier!

I will not have a restricted item today to hopefully compensate!

Default July Newbie Thread :D

Glad to see this post. I just completed my first week and weigh-in which confirmed my 7lb loss - Hooray! However, there is an interesting development for me. Overnight I went from a high complex carbohydrate vegetarian diet to a no complex carbohydrate diet and my digestive system can't quite figure out what is going on :-( It is quite uncomfortable! On the advise of my counselor, I am eating only cooked or partially cooked vegies and laying off the salads. It does seem to be helping. I certainly hope that works itself out soon! Anyone else have that problem? Otherwise, all is well. I really like most of the food so far, so that is not a chore.

Dancer - Ironic that being a vegetarian you are having trouble with the vegetables, isn't it?! My digestive issues have run the gammet. I was fine at first, then things became "sluggish" so I felt sorta constipated, bloated, gassy and just had a constant mild stomach ache. I was told to try milk of magnesia. That worked and so I took a small dose daily to be proactive, and then I developed the opposite problem. Not sure if it was the (a) milk of magnesia (b) the fact that I cheated and had peanut butter and my body was rejecting the fat (c) the IP foods (d) a stomach virus [my kids had one]. I stopped the MOM and started on the IP enzymes while I also too fish oil / omega supplement because I thought the deficiency might have led to my cheating with peanut butter. The Fish Oil gave me horrendous abdominal discomfort and the loose stools and discomfort continued until this morning. I am continuing with the enzymes, stopping the fish oil & MOM, reducing my lettuce consumption. Unfortunately for me, I cheated again wtih PB today so I guess we will see in the next 24 hours if that causes another bout of stomach issues.

Today's yummy snack? Vanilla pudding mixed with a small cup of iced coffee and a sprinkling of cinammon. Yummmmy!

It is just a guessing game!

Hey all, going to eat with my teenage daughter Grace. Hopefully I will be able to find grilled shrimp or chicken with steamed veggies. Felt dizzy and weak today, day 10, very unusual for me. I never get weak or dizzy. It was kind of scary, almost felt like passing out in the bathroom at work.

Great job fellow newbies!! Today was weigh in #2 for me. Not as much as I had hoped for (1.6) but 11 pounds in 2 weeks is great for me . I am sure my next weigh in will be better since this week TOM kinda messed with this weeks numbers. I did still lose a little on the measurements so no complaints here. I can say I am really liking this program and follow it 100%. Going to a BBQ tonight but already have my food planned so will just have fun. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Hello all!

I began IP on 6/30/2011.

I found this forum and feel like I've got such a great network to depend on.

The recipe ideas have been a lifesaver!
