I don't live alone so I can't do that. I just have to remember what I want. And that is to be THIN!

Watcat - thanks for the congrats on my weight loss. I am so happy and excited to have the first five off of me. Ideally I have about 50 pounds to take off but it's too intimidating for me to think like that.

Great Idea! I'll go eat some nice organic romaine. Costco now carries organic romaine so I got two big bags which should really help. Duh! How come I forgot about that between yesterday and today!!

One day, one pound at a time. I have 103 pounds to go. I am going for continued weight loss. NO GAINS! I will make it. I am not worried about that at all. I think once you reach that point where THAT"S IT! I am DONE with being LARGE!, nothing will stop you. At least that's how I feel.

Emmie - I don't live alone either, so I cannot remove everything from my house. Personally, I think it is important that we learn to co-exist with everything, includnig tempting foods. Through this diet / life change, we will learn to say no and reprogram our bodies to not want it. That said, everybody has a particular weakness. Mine are ice cream and peanut butter. I am able to resist the ice cream on this diet (along with all the fruit, forbidden veggies, sauces, kid snacks etc.), but the peanut butter kept getting me so I did finally remove it. Perhaps you should remove your greatest temptation or two? In the end, I would do what makes it easieset for you to succeed while attempting to set lifetime habits!

I live on the Organic Romaine, too. Our local store had them 2 for 5 and I have eaten tons and tons. I am not a huge fan of it just raw, but I do stir fry it up and have a nice little meal when I feel the need. Keep in mind that should change, too. I am eating fewer bowls of lettuce than I was in week 1!!

So somebody said to me today "Oh, I think I can see a little weight loss.". Well, you might think YEAH. BUT, I was more like "really, you are just now able to see a little?" I have lost 9 pounds and have 11 to go. Perhaps its just not that noticeable, or perhaps she was being a little passive aggressive (she is thin and fit, but with an air of superiority). IDK but for some reason I didn't take as well as one may have thought. I guess I was hoping for a dramatic shift given all the sacrifices / changes this diet has entailed!

Calee - are you also having your 2 cups of vegetables with your protein food? That in addition to unlimited lettuce, lots of herbal tea and coffee got me through until I became less hungry.

Jase - GET BACK ON TOP OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Put. The. Bread. Down. It is not even tasty!!!!

Make a handful of things to get you through three days. Chop of all your veggies, get your dinner proteins out. Have you IP snacks etc. on the counter. Have it ready to go so there are NO EXCUSES! Then get the heck out of the house if that is your downfall (for me, laying around the house makes me more apt to start craving a food).

I am sitting here drinking a 1/2 caff coffee with a splash of milk and my new WF chocolate syrup in it. Am I satisfied? not really. Was it yummy? not really. Could I even taste the chocolate? not really. But, am I on protocol? YES. Does that satisfy me? YES. Does chocolate taste better than skinny feels? NOT AT ALL.

If I can do it, you can do it! Have fun making that zucchini dish and then share with us how it is =)

I am off to make a lettuce stir fry as I think my tummy is growling (or my midn wants something . . .)

I had a horrible migraine day 2,3 and 4. Now I just have a painful nagging headache. I have been taking either bc or prescription meds. I blew it tonight. I ate carbs hoping it would increase my energy and strenght level. I have been feeling very weak past few days. This headache is wearing me down. I will get back on plan in the am. I'm usually very pigheaded when I make my mind up about something. I am just not feeling well last few days which leaves me vulnerable.
