My first week on IP I only lost 3.5lbs and I'm very disappointed. I weigh in again this Wednesday and don't feel like I've lost a pound and I haven't cheated even once. I hear all these people talking about losing 10lbs their first week so I feel like I'm dong something wrong.
Don't be. Everyone is different, and 3.5 pounds in a week is good progress. I lost around that much my first week. Keep it up!
I started the program in 2007. I did it for 5 months and lost 55 lbs. I slowly regained some of the weight since then, and I've been on IP for 1 week now and 6.7 lbs down.
Been on IP for 2 1/2 weeks, Week 1 lost 6 lbs and Week 2 1/2 lost 1 lbs.
My coach said that focus shouldnt just be on pounds lost as Lock mentioned above but also how you feel about your body and how your clothes fit and also inches lost.
