  • Hi,
17 weeks so far and averaging 2.23 lbs a week. Faster at first(21 lbs in first 7wks).
I delayed my blood work cuz I was afraid to see what the readings were. Talk about a head in the sand move! Anyway, finally did it about 2 mo in and found out I had a thryoid problem that would slow down weight loss, all other readings were excellent, thank God! Took me another month to research thryoid med before I would take it, so have been on it for about 1 month now.

I have also, almost daily, eaten an extra protein, usually more meat, but occasionally (rarely) an extra restricted bar, my bad!

Another bad thing is until recently I had the hardest time getting all the water in, usually had only, maybe 40ish ounces a day.

In the last month I have up'd my water to close to 60 oz a day, started the thryoid med, been better at having less portein on a daily basis, have an extra bar aprox once every 8 days.

There were weigh-ins in the middle that were the same for 2 weeks in a row, a .5 loss, 1.5 loss, 1.4 loss, and one w a l lb gain.

In the last month after the low losses, stalls, 1 lb gain and with the "moderately" improved habits and the thryoid med, the losses improved to 4, 2.4, 3, and 2.5.

I say all that to say this......calculating the loss ratios shared so far, makes me even more inspired to be stricter, disappointed in myself for draging myself along.....but I certainly am further than I would have been without IP and this site and my energy level is through the roof!

IP is amazing and as someone else said the body shape changes are great.

Thanks to all on this site, too, for all that is honestly shared about our journey on the adventure we are on together. You are all inspiring me to be better. one day one meal at a time
