My weigh in was moved from today to Thursday. But NSV I bought a shirt in an XL. Wow!! I have been shopping in hefty isle for so long I didn't realize anything else was there. I bought a purple top because going through my closet everything is black. We will see if anyone notices. Congrats to all who lost weight or just stayed on plan today. Always know I am cheering you on!!!!

Had WI#8 today and I am down another 2 lbs and 1/2 inch in hips and thighs. GOOD-BYE 200=never going back there again!!!I am very excited about this due to me having my first cheap in 8 weeks due to going out of town for a Mardi Gras ball with food and alcohol. Back on track and in full swing!!!! I love this diet...

Thanks to everyone out there for the posts and the progress photos - they mean more than you know! It really helps to see your success. Have a great day!

I wasn't on the tread yesterday, but CONGRATS on your weight loss. 6 lbs is AMAZING!!

I'm glad you were able to get through everything yesterday. Feel free to call me anytime you need a lifeline. I wouldn't have gotten thought the first few weeks without having a support system to call no matter what the crisis!

Can't wait to hear next week's stats!

Had weigh in # 3 today with a loss of 6 more lbs, making a total of 18. I have decided that every 10 lbs I will buy a new pair of shoes. I read this in a weight loss magazine and think it's a great idea! My new favorite food is maple oatmeal zuchinni pancakes made in coconut oil. They are so so good, I feel like I am cheating!!! It is so nice to find these boards, you all are an encouraging bunch! Thank you

Regardless, the standard rule is drink 1/2 ounce per body weight, minimum. At your present weight that's 100 ounces. To double that makes the possibility of flushing nutrients, minerals, and essential amino acids out of your system a major consideration.

Have you mentioned this to your coach? He/she knows your situation better than we do so you may be OK. Still, I think I'd mention it. Cheers.
Yes, I read the article. And while I have not experienced any of those side effects it describes, I think you're right, and I am trying to cut back some. My coach knows because I turn in sheets every week that lists my water consumption. But she has never said anything other than, "I see you have no problem getting your water in!"

Before IP, I drank about a 12 pack of diet soda a day. It was like a crutch for me. So when I started IP and did without, I think I over-compensated with the water. Plus the bad breath thing, I think water helps.

PLEASE post how to make these. I have not ever had the IP oatmeal but I did have some from a diff company. I have followed the recipe for oatmeal pancakes and they never turn out however I have done the IP cereal pancakes and they are AMAZING!!! In fact I had one for lunch today but it would be nice if I could incorperate my veggies into it as well. Somehow pancake and celery don't really go together. HA HA HA HA!!!!

Forgive me, I don't know how to post properly yet, how do you copy and post quotes from others on this board? this is my only 3rd post.
to make zuchinni pancakes you take 2 cups shredded zuchinni(I shred mine with the food processor) 2 egg whites, 1 pack of maple oatmeal and one packet of stevia. mix together. Cook like you would a pancake in a non stick pan. I use coconut oil to cook mine in. Just drop in like you would a pancake and flatten out with a spoon. It makes a ton. all of which you can eat yummy yummy. I prefer these over the box pancakes anyday

Yesterday was trying to be so organized, and super mom like, so decided to make 6 turkey burgers instead of three. I figured I would be good for a few days, save time etc, while doing other housework waitting for the burgers to cool before putting in the fridge herd this funny noise. Went back in the kitchen , low and behold is my cat licking all my juicey turkey burgers LOL....well..... I just couldnt eat them after that. My cat is always licking himself, so......plan B LOL..... Good thing next week is March break, makes little things like this easier to laugh at!

I think my cat is also losing weight while I am on IP!
OMG! that's too funny! I love having turkey burgers so far on this plan I've had them like 3 times and I've been doing this now for 6 days! lol

Anyway, I had my first weigh in today and I am down 5 pounds! I was hoping for a little more but some of it is my fault since I really didn't do all the water I was suppose to. So needless to say that is my goal for this week and the rest of this plan: drink all my water! And, because I was so hungry I ended up eating more protein than allowed. My coach did tell me to have an extra packet, but I really didn't want to have to spend more money. SO I won't be doing that again either.
Well, I will continue to stay OP and check back in later!

This looks great! Will definitely be trying it soon. What a great way to get in my veggies.

Question for Everyone. I've noticed in the last 2 days that the whites of my eyes aren't as white, they seem sort of cloudy and a little bloodshot, maybe a blue or greyish tint to them. Has anybody experienced this?
