Happy Hump Day...

To see what you missed yesterday: Tuesday, 2 March 2011

Good morning fellow IP ers! This morning I decided to increase my goal weight. I think it's non sense for 5'7 to be 125lbs.. on this diet because all I lose is fat!! So after seeing picture of myself.. My new goal is 135 and then I will reevaluate myself at this point! Have a good OP day!

I am about your height, and I think you are right. My goal weight is 140 and my coach thought that was as low as I should go. But I've got a large frame. (Haha, I'm big boned!). Good luck, you're doing great!

Good morning IP troopers! Here is to another wonderful day. Thank you to all who commented on my progress pics, thank you so much. I have worked hard to get where I am in a short time and love it.

Congratulations to all who have had great successes and losses. To those who may be struggling, know that this program works, there are so many examples here and around us of this program working. WE CAN DO IT!

Yesterday I had a shop employee ask me,
Him: "Can I ask you a personal question?"
Me: "Sure, what's up?"
Him: "Are you ok, are you losing weight on purpose or are you sick?"
Me: CHUCKLE!
Me: "I am losing weight to better my health, I was approaching 300#'s and realized I needed to do something."
Him: "Well good for you, it is really showing and a bunch of us were worried that you were sick. Glad you are not!"
Me: "Thank you!"

Made my day.

Keep up the great work! Stay strong and follow your goals. We are doing this for ourselves and our families, but most of all we are doing this for OURSELVES!

Cheers to all the IPrs, sitting here catching up sipping my hot chocolate, which I find sooooo good. Gives Timmys a run for their money!

Yesterday was trying to be so organized, and super mom like, so decided to make 6 turkey burgers instead of three. I figured I would be good for a few days, save time etc, while doing other housework waitting for the burgers to cool before putting in the fridge herd this funny noise. Went back in the kitchen , low and behold is my cat licking all my juicey turkey burgers LOL....well..... I just couldnt eat them after that. My cat is always licking himself, so......plan B LOL..... Good thing next week is March break, makes little things like this easier to laugh at!

I think my cat is also losing weight while I am on IP!

In fact, you are not sick, you are just getting healthier!

That's great and I'm sure you inspire people around you! Keep on going!:carrot:

I have had very simular conversations with co-worker and students. The, "you look great.. is everything ok?" comment always makes me chuckle inside.

LOL Locks! I'm glad our dog can not get on the counters or I am sure I would be using plan b alot.

Happy Wednesday all. Yesterday was my WI and I lost 1lb. I was a little disapointed but that 1lb loss takes me into the 170's!

Wishing everyone a wonderful day. Stay strong, we can do this.

After vacation....

Well, I am back from vacation in TX. I have to say I did not follow protocol at all during my vacation. I was eating anything and everything, but I don't regret it. I went up 3 pounds but I enjoyed myself, I did not over eat but I ate regular food and enjoyed my mom's cooking again after a year of missing it.
Now I am back and I am starting back up. I am going to give myself one more month to loose all the weight I can loose and If I don't get to my goal I am stopping anyway. I can't afford the diet after my husband comes back from deployment, so I have to stop before he gets here. I will have to drop the remaining weight with exercise alone.

Let's see how it goes from now on. Hopefully it doesn't take me long to get into ketosis again.

What a great way to start my morning, reading all your inspiring success stories...well right after all my farm chores of course but before I head off to work!
Yesterday we moved into our new school. Of course, we had one very, very cold day to do this but the move went very smoothly. Now for the unpacking, where do I put things, and why can't I find the one box of stuff I needed to use right away begins. What a relief to get all that over with tho!
As the principal of the school, I am the go to girl for just about every question asked! My head is still spinning a bit :) !! There is lots more to do but my NSV is that no weight gain on Phase IV! To me this is major, stress sometimes has a tendancy to pack on the lbs but not this time. I even treated my staff to pizza yesterday and wasn't tempted to even have a bite! You can all do this...hope you all have a terrific IP kinda day.

Joliebug82 03-02-2011 09:10 AM

Morning guys! It's...WEIGH-IN WEDNESDAY!!! I'm not nearly nervous about it, except for possibly retaining extra water from sitting in the sun all day with ONE port-a-potty that stunk and I was NOT using it. I got in 64 oz. and that was IT.

So...was thinking of doing bootcamp, then realized it's Mardi Gras week here, and there is no way I'm going to be able to say no to Fat Tuesday foods without my bbq soy crisps, lol. And I don't want to give up the gym. I don't do much more than walk now, but it's my outlet three or four days a week. I think I'd go crazy without it. SO, all you Boot Camp IP kids, best of luck! (Maybe if I see your numbers change a lot, I'll join you!)

Going walk the mall today after weigh-in, and make notes. :D

Hey all! Just popped in to update my ticker....haven't been on much in the last 2 weeks....life gets in the way...still slowly losing....I've joined that slow losers club, but I figure a slow loss is better than no loss!

Happy IP day!

debonadiet 03-02-2011 09:26 AM

Well, after a tough couple of weeks with travel, sickness (for everybody in the house, and ME), and meals i had zero control over... I've still lost 2 pounds. I know it's not much for 2 whole weeks, but I'm happy anyway. It's steps in the right direction! I haven't been here in a while, and I'm so happy to see the pounds dropping off everybody! It's so inspiring what everyone is doing! I hope everyone has a great day!

That's really nice that they were so concerned, noticed the weight loss was significant and cared enough to ask. Keep up the great work.

Good morning IP family, I had told myself that once I lost 25 pounds I would announce it on my FB page, (I did that last week) and got so many wonderful comments. Yesterday I posted an updated picture on there and everyone said I looked like I did 15 years ago. Such a great feeling! I love being able to take photos without having to worry about how fat I look. I have so many pictures with my husband and the kids togheter but none of me, I can't wait to be in them again.

ash825 03-02-2011 10:09 AM

Good morning, IPers. I have a couple questions on my mind recently:

1. I don't like the jello or gelatin drink and was curious if anyone takes a gelatin supplement? I would love for the skin to "bounce back" as I lose weight.

*warning for the men, next question is "time of the month" related*
2. I have PCOS and would never have a period without birth control. I've been on it since 2001. I get light 2 day periods during my placebo week normally. Now, on IP, I get pretty significant period every TWO weeks. Not the norm for my PCOS body. Is this a good thing? Wondering if things are starting to work correctly on their own. I'm tempted to get off BCP and see what my body does naturally. Anyone had issues like this?

Thanks!
