Started march 20th a "tight" 18. really a 20, but would NEVER admit that to myself... by "tight"18, what I really mean was that I could squeeze into them with a HUGE muffin top and when I took them off I had red lines across my waist line. But I wouldn't ever buy 20's
today (May 7)I am a comfortable 16. I can actually say that I am smaller now than at my prom. I still have my size 16 prom dress that was a little tight back then, now it is kind of loose!
I began my journey on IP Feb 22, 2011 at 285 lbs. Today May 8m 2011 I am at 231 lbs.
When I started I was into 2 XL shirts pusing a 42 pant. I am now in an XL Shirt only because I am so broad acorss the shoulder's I don't find a Large is big enough. I am into a size 36 jean and feel great.
Congrats everyone on your weight loss, and keep up the great work!!
My Goal is to get into a 34 Pant some day but with my bone structure I don't know if I'll get there but I won't stop Trying IP gave me my life back at age 27 and Im loving it.
Started IP in Oct 2010
Starting weight:162
Current weight: 123
Starting size-12
Current size-4
Starting bra:38D
Current-34-36C depending on cut.
Was always thick in the arms and legs and this is the first time I've had thin legs. That did not happen until the last 5-6lbs. Same with the arms.
I've been maintaining since Feb.2011
Wow this is a great thread...here is what I was and what I am now
April 27, 2011 starting date of IP was 388lbs I was closer to 400 but I started watching what I ate a few weeks before starting IP. I was in a 30/32 shirt or 5x and pants were a 32.
As of August 29,2011 I am at 321lbs. I fit in size 26 shorts now and can pull them off without unbuttoning them and my shirts float on me. I am not buying anything new til after winter unless I just looks totally awful then I will break down and go buy something.
I have lost 67lbs and 60 inches total (arms, breast, wasit, hip and thigh) in 19 weeks. I have over 70lbs to go but I am taking it one day at a time. I will get there I know I will, my goal is to be there for christmas! If I don't make it by then that is ok, as long as I get there it doesn't matter how long it takes me.
Wuv, I really do love you! Hope that doesn't make me sound like a freak on the internet for saying it.
This is my 5th week on IP. I started at 218 lbs, I am 5'4" and 1/2. I was wearing a size 16 shorts that had probably grown a bit with me stretching them out. Stretched out 40DD bras, some XL shirts, some 1X shirts, depending on the brand. I've had to retire a lot of those clothes already. I was just under 200 lbs on last WI, I'm somewhere between a 14 and a 16 right now, depending on brand. I've been shopping in my own closet. I'm still in a 40DD bra, not the stretched out ones though, and I don't have boobs under my arms anymore. I am wearing them on the tightest clasp. Who knows about the shirts, I'm not buying any new clothes right now. It's still too hot for fall/winter clothes here, so I'm waiting until I absolutely have to buy something. I've never been a fan of long sleeves because I've always been hot. That may change now that my insulation is melting away.
I used to wear Womens 4x and 3x sizes. My highest weight was 240. I started IP at 209 pounds and have lost another 55 pounds.
I now wear a Medium shirt and size 12 pants.
I am hoping to wear at least size 10 with goal weight.
My highest weight was 204- and a very tight 16 (couldn't bring myself to accept wearing an 18)- I dropped to 187 over the course of 4 months through diet and exercise. Started IP at 181 and during the next 15 weeks got my weight to 142 by the time phase 3 was done. I'm now in maintenance at 140. I wear a size 4 usually, a size 2 in skirts, a size 6 if the pants are very slim. My bra size went from a 38c to a 32d. I love IP & my new body that is absolutely so much fun to dress... finally!
It is so funny, it's a weird coincidence, cause today, I was thinking, I have no clue about what my size is as of now !
The thing is that I came to Canada 6 years ago, I was never what we call a thin girl, but I was kind of ok, so I brought my old pants with me, which I don't know the size since sizes back in my country are different from here. I started gaining weight in here. I got married at 220 pounds after I did the cookie diet (which is the worst diet ever in my own opinion), then I ballooned to reach my all time high of 250 pounds after only two short years of marriage. I started the IP at 248 after I heavily exercised to a DVD of Jillian Micheals which killed every muscle in my body to only lose 2 pounds after a month .
Anyway, long story short, I started being a size 18 to 22 depending on the clothes.
I have no clue what is my pant size now, I am so eager to know, should go to the mall soon and start trying new pants.
Love reading this read and all the success stories. One of the best rewards of this diet is dropping clothes sizes. It is so motivating. I was wearing a size 24 pant and 3X top. I am now wearing size 16 pants and 1X tops. I have no jeans or long pants to fit me for the upcoming fall/winter season. I am waiting to buy a size smaller for winter as the sixteen is comfortable on me. Size 14 is probably 10 lbs away, and then i can finally say goodbye to plus size stores. I cannot wait!!!!!
