I started out at 155 lbs in mostly 12 pants, some 14s, L tops, and 38C bra size. Now, at 140 lbs, I am in mostly size 6 pants, some size 4s, and small or med tops. Bra size 34D.

When I was last at this weight, I was in size 10 pants, so the fat loss really shows in the clothing sizes. I've never worn size 6 (let alone 4) in my life. IP rocks!

I am 5'5" (and a half)

I was always 125-135 lbs. as an adult.

In 1993, I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid after my weight shot up to 172 lbs and I was having other symptoms.

With the help of a Dietician/Nutritionist, I got my weight down to 135 lbs for my wedding in 2002.

During my pregnancy with my son, I gained 46 lbs. Afterwards, I got back down to 150 lbs. I chose to just accept my new weight.

After my second pregnancy, when my daughter was born, in 2006, I was 206 lbs. I told my husband that if he shared that with anyone, I would have to kill him but here I am telling everyone myself!

I was dressing in the smaller sizes in the stores for oversized women (Penningtons, Addition-Elle). I worked my way down to 186 lbs on my own and then I started seeing a Dietician/Nutritionist.

By going to the gym and following the advice of the Dietician/Nutritionist, I got myself down to 176 lbs (size 15-16) but I plateau'd and then I got stuck! I would go down to 166 lbs (size 14) and then bounce right back up.

I have now been IP for 6 days and this morning, I was 168.6 lbs. (size 14-15) I am hoping to get down to 140-145 lbs but if I only get to 150 lbs, I won't be disapointed.

I am 32 years old (33 in a few weeks). I'm 5'1" (on a good day), I'm tiny. I've always been 145-150 lbs, size 9ish. Got down to about 120 for the past two years by exercising, running running running and eating well. Since Thanksgiving, I've gained "a few" pounds, I now weigh in at 131, but it would be a dream to be 110-115 - remember I am very very short.

Its day 4 for me on IP and I am hoping and praying for the best.

Has anyone lost at these weights? Is it likely that I will loose 3-5/week like everyone else? For a pound a week loss, I'm not sure if its worth the struggle to get thru the day on this very restrictive diet.

Any comments welcome - this forum has been so wonderful!

I'll jump in here. When I started IP I was a tight 18 and weighed 242. Now, at 204, I'm a loose 14. My goal is a size 8. I'm really big boned and can't imagine getting any smaller than that. I swear I skipped past that size growing up!

I am also big boned and I think I wore a size 10 or maybe an 8 when I was in college and weighed about 125. I know that I always needed at least a medium t-shirt because my shoulders are wide. I just bought a new pair of jeans and they are a size 14. I weigh 224 on my scale (haven't had an offical WI since the 11th). I started out with a tight 18 at 253. I know that I seem to be losing off my butt and thighs faster than anywhere else. My sister did IP last summer and that seems to be how she lost also. It would be really cool if I could eventually wear and 8. Would love to be able to shop in regular stores!!! Right now I don't want to take my new jeans off - its been years since anything with a size 14 label fit on my body!!! The lady that helped me at DressBarn yesterday told me I needed to start shopping on the Misses side of the store. I almost kissed her!!!

When I started IP on 2/2/11 I was a tight 16. XXL or 1X top.. (182.6 lbs) Almost 7 weeks later, I am a 14, and I bought some stretchy 12's, and my XL tops aren't super tight. I havent tried to buy a large, but maybe I'll be there soon (157.2lbs).. And no, I haven't been blessed up top, so unfortunately what I did have is melting away.. Wish it could be my waist!!!

When in college around 160 I was a tight 10, loose 12, large shirts (I swam so large arms was my issue)
Gain weight after I stopped swimming due to shoulder injury I've hovered around an 18/20 for several years and L-XL shirts
So far my 18 pants are getting loose in thighs and looser in the hips-waist is starting to gape but my lovely pear shape has to get rid of my hips before I drop sizes

i started at 235 in a tight, tight 16 (should have been an 18), large tops and a 38B (i have a smaller upper body, with wide hips and thick legs. all the ladies in my family are shaped like this - even the really thin ones!) now, at 56/57 lbs lighter, i am wearing anywhere between a 12 and 10, depending on the cut, small tops and 36/34B. i still have big hips and thick thighs, which i'm hoping will thin out a little bit... though i can see my hip bones now and i can maybe only lose another 2-4 inches on my hips until it's to the bone. because of this, i don't think i'll be able to wear anything smaller than an 8, though i would LOVE to wear a 6 one day.

I may have posted this once before, but will do it again. I started IP at 289# a week or 2 prior to starting, I was 296#. I wore size 42 jeans and they were getting very snug. I had to wear 2XLT - 3XL shirts to keep them tucked in and fit around everything.

I am now wearing very loose fitting 36 jeans and XL shirts. I do not see the shirt size dropping anymore, but I think I could fit into 34 jeans, just not sure I would have the thigh room. I really really do like the changes I am seeing in my body shape and tone.

I was wearing 3x and weighed 240 pounds, I now weigh 205 and wear size xxl. It was fun to buy some spring clothes in a new size.

Starting weight was 269. Pant size 26. Top size 3x. Now, I weigh 167, pant size 13/14 and top size is a large. I have to admit, I do like my clothes a little on the big size and not tight.
