Carla....you look great. Glad you liked the analogy of the "boobage". LOL
nitenic
again, i apologiz for things g may say to you. i know she's a tough cookie and "tell ya how it is" kind of person. sometimes it's a little too harsh. i say print out the lindora nutritional content, take it in there next thursday, show her and tell her-look, this is what i would like to do. if you can't support me in this then i'll have to do this on my own."
and again, i am so sorry she hurt your feelings today. she has the best intentions, she really just comes across abrasive at times.
melissa

I think that was me that suggested cutting them up and eating them throughout the day, but I never thought of putting them in the freezer. What a great idea!! I am going to try this, thanks!

Linden, thanks, glad you posted this... one of my friends gave me some yellow crookneck squash & I was trying to decide whether or not to eat it... I think now I'll just slice it very thin & freeze it & save it for Phase 4...
hugs
Well, I was only going by the IP sheet I was given which puts squash in the NOT PERMITTED category, not even Occasional. CC's coach says it's OK, so. . . ? Here's the URL for nutritional information for ONE CUP of all varieties of summer squash: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcom...st_nut_edit.pl
7.76 grams of carbs for just one cup and 4.66 grams of sugar seems high; but there is a lot of magnesium and potassium.
Huh? Personally, I'd figure I'm smart enough to plot my own course and listen to the good counsel on these boards to work out my own program. My day-to-day "coaching" was weak, but they never got insulting. (If anything, I think they found me intimidating... can you imagine?)
If they refuse to supply the IP product, try "Ideal to Go." They were very hands off for my sister, while I provided the coaching. Or use non-IP products. I'm happy to help you, should you need any input. Feel free to PM me.
Sorry you had a bad experience, my friend. But don't give up on the program... it works, and we'll all help you get to where you need to be.
I'm definitely NOT giving up on the program. Contrary to what it may seem like based on my weight, I DON'T like everything . Honestly, once the RTD vanilla was no longer available, I was really tired of everything IP except the jello anyways. I went to work out again today to relieve some steam and decided I'm ready to do this on my own.
I appreciated the help in getting the first 40 off but I need to do the next 60 on my own. Worst case, I will go to another coach after I move or maybe try Ideal to Go but I think I'll be fine thanks to the support of great folks like you on this board. My only concern is running out of the potassium calcium but I just bought a new bottle a few weeks ago that I haven't opened so I should at least be set for the next 3 months or so. Thank you soooo much for your offer to help! I'm gonna review posts from other folks who have done it on their own and will definitely reach out if I have any questions.

Thank you!! Just cuz I was dumb enough to forget to reorder my checks, doesn't mean I don't have the money. I thought I was being helpful by going out of my way to get a money order since it was a huge ordeal when I used my checkcard on my first visit. Oh well. I'm already looking forward to buying a fancy new scale with the money that would've been used on packets next week.

Awwww Erin, please don't feel bad!
I was planning to do the show and tell thing and then I realized I don't have to justify myself. I am adult and can choose to do what I feel is best. I know without a shadow of a doubt that the very last vanilla pre-made I purchased from her was identical to what I got from Lindora. The kicker is I didn't even USE any of the vanilla RTDs in the last week, I did all IP products! I just have so much IP stuff left over from the weeks that I did use Lindora and Pure Protein that I really didn't need to buy a third box to add to my collection. At one point during our not so nice convo she asked me if I wanted to end things and I said yes and surprisingly she backed down a bit. I was planning to go back next week just to show her that yes, despite what this crazy scale is saying right now I am losing weight but after thinking about it longer, I decided that trying to prove something is really not worth the stress. I am doing this for me and my health alone.
Funny thing about that scale: it showed the same thing as last week. Keep in mind this was the latest that I've ever weighed in with her and I'd had my usual daily water consumption, although I stopped drinking at 1:30 even though I was still thirsty. According to my home weigh in, I've lost 4 lbs this week so I didn't believe it so she had me step off and weigh again. Same number but everything on the bottom row said ERR. She said don't worry about that stuff. So then she goes to do measurements and all of a sudden she wants those numbers. I step back on the scale and in less than 5 minutes my weight went up 2 lbs. See why I hate that scale???
Anyways, I already canceled next week's appointment and I feel tons better and excited about the program again. I suspect this was long overdue for me.
nichole, oh how i LOATHE that scale, honestly that's why i bought my own. and don't think it helps that it's on carpet.
i am so unbelievably proud of you for standing up for yourself. you will do this and we will all be here to help you along the way!
oh and i just went to heb plus earlier and picked up a bag of dry roasted/salted soybeans in the produce dept. $1.99 A BAG! try them, they're really yummy for snacks and identical to the $3 per bag of ip soynuts
Awsome first week Steph26. Keep it up. Don't you feel GREAT?!?! Just completed my second week. Down 3 pounds.
Thanks! I am a little worried though. I started my second week...and my period on Monday. Not only have I not lost, but I think I have gained 2 pounds. Does this happen to anyone else? Do you just expect not to lose when you're on your period? I was so pumped after week one, but now I'm a little discouraged.
Linden....yes, I have heard of that, too, but I think it is fairly rare and I was sure the amount that we were talking about wasn't going to be a problem. Thanks for the info.

You're right it IS on carpet!! I completely forgot about that but I knew there was a reason I put a little bit more faith in my scale than hers. LCB is hitting me hard this week, lol.
Thanks for the product recommendation. I went to HEB tonight to pick up some new EAS products to try so hopefully I won't have to go back til early next week but I will definitely look for those! I forgot to report in and tell you I got some of the water you mentioned (LaCroix?) and I loooove the way the orange smells. Definitely reminds me of Sunkist and it does taste better than the other stuff.
wicked eh? I"ll be celebrating in a few with a cold glass of "water".
dwj
nichole
it's bugged me since i started, that scale is so ridiculous, i can fluctuate 5 lbs on that thing in mere seconds, and then take it into the bathroom or front office on the hard floor and lose 2-3 lbs. i just don't believe in it.
glad you like the la croix!! it's so yummy, try the berry too-i'm ADDICTED to it
