tripmommyi just bought the pure protein powder in "frosty chocolate" and it is YUMMMMMY, i think it's about $12 for 12 servings, a little cheaper than EAS drinks.[/QUOTE]

Thanks! Where can you get it? Are to calories, fat and carbs similiar to IP chocolate drinks? I liked the chocolate ones best. I have lots here that I can't even imagine trying. Tried blueberry pomagranite today...hated that one.

the calories are about 150 per shake, and 4-5 g of carbs but 25 g of protein

you can get it at your local grocery store in the health foods sections with all the other protein powders or a GNC type store too

i'm still losing too!

Hello all,
has anyone felt any random numbness on this IP program? I have experienced random, short term numbness on my pinky toe, tip of my tongue, derriere, fingers. I never had this problem before starting the IP program, so just wondering if anyone else has. I went to the doc to figure out what the problem is and she really did not know. So now i am waiting for some blood test results.

Golfergirl: I do have experienced diarrea more often than i would like to admit. i asked my coach and he had no answer. I read Dr. T Chan's website and diarrea was not listed as a symptom of this diet like constipation is. Infact, he suggested seeing your doc if you experience diarrea.

Not to make light of your "problem" but after fighting this constipation deal I'd welcome a little diahrrea!

Someone posted a recipe for bok choy, garlic and shrimp stir fry which I had for dinner tonight and it was wonderful...Does anyone have Jordana's recipe for bok choy soup...gotta love that vegetable. Marilyn

Diet Frenzy: I have not had numbness but I am glad you are seeing a doctor for bloodwork. Deficiencies in B vitamins, vitamin D, and/or Iron can all cause numbness and other serious health issues. B vitamins are water soluble so, they could be easily lost with this diet or in events of diarrhea.

Golfergirl and Diet Frenzy: Please see a doctor about diarrhea on this diet. It is possible you have too much potassium or magnesium both could be serious. In the event you have too much magnesium, the first sign you are at your body's threshold for what it needs is diarrhea. It would be worth having blood tests to determine where your levels are if this is a persistent issue.

We'll see what the coach and the scale have to say about that later this week.
I have half my protein and a cup of veggies in the morning. I wake up with my tummy rumbling, but I'm never very hungry at lunch or dinner. My coach is okay with it as long as I get everything in.

I enjoy the new scale, but I'm getting obsessed like everyone here I guess ! And I don't understand it at all hahaha. I was at 155.8 yesterday morning, and then, today morning i was at 158. Whyyyyyyy? I was feeling good with 155
I think we should all follow any advice from Novak...a.k.a. Yoda...
And more importantly than your weight on your new scale is how amazing you look in your new pics!! You're sooo pretty! and thin!!

I WISH i had diarrhea, I'm struggling with constipation. Ughhhh. Miralax is my friend

I called our regional director today about what happened over the weekend. She said she thinks it may be a NEGATIVE reaction to my reflux medicine. She said usually people on the diet can come off reflux medication in 10 days, though with the severity of my condition, I may just need to reduce my prescription. She said to go on with the plan as I have been Weigh in in the A.M. After taking 3 days off and just watching what I eat, I'm hoping to still have a decent loss

Erin & Roz I went and saw MY boyfriend AGAIN Sunday night. He looked right at me and said he loved me. He kept calling me Bella, which I didn't get, but I decided to let it slide

Strange day where my food had be all out of order, which irritated me. Not because it wasn't possible or I hadn't planned, but it meant no evening snack which is my favorite part of the day. (insert small pout here)

Something odd happened this morning when I was trying on different clothes to put on for the day, too. I still haven't gone through everything in my closet so it's a bit of a 'lottery' every day, anyway, here it is: When I was on my honeymoon a few years ago, I but a bunch of stuff from Zara in Spain. Thinking I'd 'lose weight later,' I bought them even though they didn't button. (Yes, I know, bad idea, famous last words, got it). I weighted about 153 or so then. I'm 159 officially, maybe a little less, since I weigh in on Wednesday. So, let's say I'm 4-6 pounds heavier than the last time these shirts DIDN'T fit...but believe it or not, the FIT TODAY, and I could button them!!!! Holy cow. I jumped up and down and made an *** of myself in my bedroom.

I saw a theory that the body is different because we're losing more fat...please make that so, please make that so.

Ok, night, ladies & gents.

Welcome tle!! I'm glad you found IP and this board.

I'm going to venture an opinion, but please take it in only the kindest way...IMHO if you have a kidney infection, you may want to wait a few weeks before you start IP. The plan is not recommended for anyone with kidney or liver issues and you may do some long term harm. You might be better off waiting till you finish your medication, then another 1-2 weeks to let yourself recover. As a side note, you may also find you will not lose much weight as I have heard that some medications will interfere with your loss.

Anyway, so sorry to be discouraging, but your health is so important, I just had to chime in.

Your are correct! This diet is designed to get rid of fat and keep lean muscle. Congrats on the clothes fitting - and - happy dances are in order here.

Well, finally had a drop this week of 1.5. I am still showing up as negative on the ketosis strips so I'm pretty sure they are not accurate. I'm just going to keep on truckin' and even though it is a bit slow, I'll take that over the gain I had last week!

Scroll down, on the right hand side, until you get to the individual IP products.
