Hey Everyone! It took me forever to get caught up on all the posts. I have great news Today is the last day of month one.....I weighed in at 238.6. WoooHooo!!!! That makes it a total of 15 lbs, 2.3% body fat, and 16 3/4 inches gone the first month. I still have a long way to go but bring on month two One more thing......I have a signature!!!! (Just hope I did it right and it shows up LOL)

TO HOPEFUL TRICIA I don't think those pre-filled grinders are refillable but I would imagine you could use any salt grinder (maybe even a pepper grinder, for that matter) from Crate & Barrel, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, or where ever one buys a salt grinder. A lot of spices, spice blends, peppers, and salts are now sold in grinders and most all of them I've purchased cannot be refilled.

Go girl...WELCOME!!!! You have done a great job, exceptional in fact, with added stress in your life Don't give up on yourself now, you really CAN do this. I had a stall as well for a few weeks, but through my tears (trust me those were plenty) I stuck to it, and this past week dropped 4lbs! I am the lowest I have been in almost 10 years. Just take each day at a time, and remember that while the world seems to be swirling around you...THIS IS one thing you can control.
Go girl...almost forgot...are you through Whitemud Chiro?? That's where I started.

Question? Does anyone else find they are cold/colder than normal? True, our weather here in Alberta is something to be desired these days, but still......
I'm always cold too unless I'm hot flashing.

Just a minute to pop in before heading out to do a jewelry party. Wanted to share weigh in info: last week I lost .8 and this week 4.2 so I am now at 75lbs gone for ever. They are not just lost, I am not going to be looking for them to be coming home EVER!!!!

Can you clarify what you (or they) mean by "have whatever you want"?? I am rather curious, I mean it can not mean chicken nuggets? by what you just stated re your diet on phase 4, it really seems that it is "whatever one wants". Is it that it will be o.k to have the sugar, fat & slow carb all at once?
I just had my week 3 weigh in and I am feeling dissappointed...I only lost 1.5lbs...and I have been following the plan exactly...I am trying not to be too blah but I can't help it
so I found my other scale, the non-digital one and unofficial weight loss (underline that unofficial) is 2 pounds. I can't wait to get to work tomorrow and check it on the Gym scale.
very official weigh in is on Friday at 10 am this time. I swear if I have lost anything, I'll be an extremely happy camper.
I tell you its really great not to hear of anyone with a plus sign news and all minus or unchanged. YAY to all.

stop feeling bad! you lost! mine was around the same I think. I think the first 2 weeks with all the water weight gone spoils us. Trust me, it all will average out, by end of the first month you'll be around 2.5 to >3 pounds a week taking into account the huge losses of the first 2 weeks. There is no one on here who has gained following the plan, its either a loss (big or small) OR no change and that is all good!
I just returned home from my WI - I've been on IP for 6 full weeks now and I am down 26lbs and have lost 18 inches. I was surprised to have lost 3lbs this week since I was so busy, I didn't have time to get all my veggies in but i did make sure I had all my packs.
I still can't believe how great I feel and the energy I have, I honestly cant' remember the last time I felt this way. It's funny my husband and his brother opened another business this past week and I finally got there saturday to do clean the bathroom & kitchen, MY way - well after 6 hours of going none stop - my husband looks at me and says "you either sit down NOW or I will make you sit down" apparently I was making him tired!!! hahahaha
