Ive heard that the first few days are the toughest, but I'm willing to do whatever necessary to rid myself of these extra lbs!

Same to you and welcome the the journey of becoming a healthier YOU! there is a lot of support here. And I find myself responding a lot more than I ever thought I would. I guess responding is my way of maybe helping someone out. We all need support because none of us are in this journey alone. We just choose to admit that we need the support and didn't try doing it alone. You never know who you will meet on here, just may make friends for life!

Good morning everyone! Happy almost 4th weekend. I'm in need of some help. I'm on my 4th week of IP and at a point where if I want to phase off for the beach I need to start. My questions is this... My coach suggested I stay on and do the alternative protocol while I was on vacation and she said if i had a glass of wine it would be okay, my body just would burn the alcohol first and then I could just go back to regular phase 1 when I get back and phase out. Has anyone experienced this? I am so worried about it because I've been working so hard but I know I'm going to have wine while I'm there. I'm not as concerned about eating as I am being able to have a drink at the beach. Thanks

Also, I'm wondering if the fact I've been having too much olive oil is causing me to lose only 2.5 lbs instead of 4. Does anyone know what the deal is about the olive oil? Maybe I'm having to much fat.

Good luck to you! It gets sooo much easier after the first week and a half. I never could sit in front of ice cream, deserts, or junk food and I do it all the time and it never phases me. this forum helps SOOO much with getting through things.

The puddings are good to add extra water and drink as a drink bc they have less carbs than the chocolate drink. You can always buy the no carb/no sugar/no calorie flavored sweeteners or add an extract to them. My center lets me exchange if I dont' like something.
Good luck!

Yeah...the puddings are not great as puddings and much better if you add ice, some extra water, stevia, davinci syrup of your choice and blend it up into a much better tasting shake. You'll get more volume, therefore you'll be filled up and have your sweet tooth satisfied plus get in some extra water. Play around with it until you like the taste. I liked the vanilla pudding as a shake and added pumpkin pie spice as an eggnog shake. You can also add chai tea to the vanilla pudding, water and ice for another great shake. Hope that helps and good luck!

HEY, I bought the same pudding, I agree no too tastey but I mixed the Banana pudding and the chocolate pudding together and split it in half. Taste pretty good. Also maybe try adding some extract in in like Vanilla or another flavor you like. I am going to add some cinnamon to my next serving and see how that taste!

Hi Sarah
You are very fortunate to have made it here before starting! I wish I had... I found this place 2 weeks ago and have learned so much. Tomorrow, I start week 6 and I have already lost 16 lbs since my last weigh in! Good Luck to you!

I used the strips and it indicated I was still in ketosis? also, is gum completely ruled out? Does anyone notice crystal light slowing you down?
what strips are you referring to? how do I search for that in other forums?? thanks
