Are you allowed to have edamame on phase one? I can't get an answer from my coach. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The nashuanutrition code ended up not working. When I got my order they added the 10% back in and said you had to join their Diet Club for $19.99. But it would be well worth it if you are going to keep ordering.

I had the bacon omelet this morning and it is yummy! It taste more like "real" scrambled eggs than the IP omelet.

Here is the complete report:
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/m...ound/index.htm

We found that three daily servings of the ready-to-drink liquid EAS Myoplex Original Rich Dark Chocolate Shake provides an average of 16.9 micrograms (µg) of arsenic, exceeding the proposed USP limit of 15 µg per day, and an average of 5.1 µg of cadmium, which is just above the USP limit of 5 µg per day. Concentrations in most products were relatively low, but when taking into account the large serving size suggested, the number of micrograms per day for a few of the products was high compared with most others tested.

Cadmium raises special concern because it accumulates in and can damage the kidneys, the same organs that can be damaged by excessive protein consumption. And it can take 20 years for the body to eliminate even half the cadmium absorbed today.
I've been telling people about IP and had mentioned there is this alternative thread on the site, but I'm trying to figure out if the EAS drinks are safe or not to suggest. I went to the EAS site, but couldn't determine if it was just the one flavor that has those ingredients (couldn't find in the product info where the rich chocolate gets those either). Would they be listed as a different name? Kinda hoping they adjusted the ingredients and got rid of them. Any knowledge would help. Thanks!

The EAS Advantage NOT Myoplex, are the ones that are close to IP.

The Myloplex is more for bodybuilders...I think.

Anyone have a new coupon for Nashua Nutrition? Was getting ready to place an order and would love a discount!

Anyone out there make a better suggestion?!? Lol...I'm relatively new at this!
I would just eat egg whites for breakfast. From my understanding the purpose of IP is to put your body into a state of ketosis which you do by eliminating carbs or primarily by eating protein. The Dukan Diet, I believe, is very similar. Hope that helps! Best wishes!

I use one whole egg and two egg whites for the replacement omelet. It is a suggestion that I got off the boards a while back.

I have been working on a spreadsheet that has alternate and IP products listed, showing the calories, fat, carbs and protein for each item. I'd love to be able to share and collaborate on it. Here's the link:
