I am also an addict of this show. I obsessively look forward to it every week. This weeks episode was I think of the darkest episodes. A fantastic one, but SUPER dark. I agree the parallels with Carol wanting to save her daughter and help Lizzie to change the way she did to survive this new world, and then in the end, Carol had to make another decision that will haunt her all of her days.

Also, what do you guys think is the darkest/most heart wrenching moment in the walking dead so far?

well my theory was wrong wasn't it...however what a shocker Sunday's episode was!! great directing..I felt myself getting almost lulled into a sense of Tyrese, Carol and the girls having a wonderful life together in the pecan grove home..then Lizzie's behavior, and I agree what an actress!

God how hard for Carol to have to be the one to shoot Lizzie..then her confession to Tyrese..you could see his fists tighten..and his careful questions about how his mate died..then he relaxes and forgives her. Wow.

For me, the darkest point so far, has been the horrible, violent, senseless death of Herschel For an older man to survive a zombie bite, have his friggin leg chopped off with no anesthetic, and to survive that; to survive his home being overrun, to survive to help others get through a sickness, to then have his head messily hacked off!! Eff the Governor in h*ll! (yes I still have anger issues at the Governor )

Interesting show last night. I am really wondering what is the deal with Terminus. I never liked the name of that place (The End?) and the previews (as well as the slightly creepy lady they found there) don't make it seem like a very safe place. I could be wrong though. But IF it's so safe, why wasn't it locked and monitored with security guards? Forget the living that are jerks (like Daryl's new group), what about walkers? They could just walk right in, couldn't they?

Anyway, what did everyone else think of the episode? I find it unbelievable the guys in Daryl's new group actually saw Rick run away from that house while they were busy taking care of their walker friend. If they did see him, they would have caught up to him easily enough. Hollywood, I guess (or Georgia, to be more accurate, lol).

Terminus is BAD. That's all I know...why was that chick cooking up big slabs of meat? I saw no cows or anything. And the comic book has cannibals in Terminus so we shall see if they go along with that at all.

Also, those guys didn't see Rick. They just new that somebody strangled their friend and he turned in to a walker. Could be that the guy that was strangled in to unconsciousness while Rick was under the bed really did see him, though. I thought his eyes were open.

Syckgirlsfv, I thought she was doing laundry! That was meat? Ha, now I REALLY don't like that place.

As for the guys in Daryl's party, yes I was sure that guy saw Rick under the bed. In fact, at first I thought he died and was going to turn into a walker, but he was just unconscious. I can't remember which guy it was, though. It wasn't the one that had a problem with Daryl and then got beat to death, was it? If so, then nobody is left who might identify Rick.

Well, looking forward to Sunday anyway. I haven't read the comics yet, though we have all of them in the house. Maybe that will be my summer reading this year. :-)

no, the guy who was unconscious looked more Hispanic to me, if I remember correctly. Maybe I'll go back and watch it again since I have them saved on DVR.

Some people are trying to say that Mary was wearing Beth's sweater, but it isn't true. I saw a picture of Beth's sweater and it was not the same - I'm remembering that the car that took her had a cross on the back of it, so I'm sure she got picked up by the weird religious cult people that were keeping up the funeral home.

I haven't read the comics, either, but I read the comments and stuff on the website and FB. There is a lot of stuff I miss, too!

Did anyone else catch the fact that they maybe also killed Judith (two episodes ago) when they killed Lizzie? There were three crosses at the end where the girls were buried, and one of them had a pair of copper baby shoes hanging from them, which they zoomed in on. I didn't see Judith as Tyrece and Carol were walking away from the house in the final scene, but I've read that she was in a baby carrier on Tyrece's back - if she was, I did NOT see that (and I was looking). Anyone?!

Just watched it again. The head guy in Daryl's new group said only Tony caught a glimpse of the guy's (Rick's) face. Assuming Tony isn't the guy that got beat to death, then he will probably recognize Rick at some point in the future.

And that lady is definitely cooking meat, not doing laundry! It's funny how we see things the wrong way. I didn't really catch the sweater, not sure if it was Beth's. I'm sure we'll see Beth some time in the future as well.

Nonameslob, I never thought about Judith at the end of the last episode. My husband says he definitely saw three crosses, but he assumed the baby was on one of their backs. Hopefully that question will be resolved next week, I'd hate to wait all summer!

I looked it up on some blogs, and it was also addressed on Talking Dead, that Judith IS alive and was indeed with Tyrese and Carol

Anyone watching this new show, The 100? Not exactly like the Walking Dead, but very interesting perspective on survival too!

*pokes head in* Any thoughts about the season finale? I'm bummed we have so long to wait until it starts again!

I had a moment of genuine horror when Rick spotted the pocket watch on that Terminus guy because I figured the show would end with a major character death. I was like, oh no...THEY ATE GLENN!

Also, Rick ripping the guy's throat out with his teeth? Loved it.

I thought it was well done...but I wanted more! I love that Rick is BACK~! He is going to be more Rick than ever...watch out Termites!!! LOL. I thought we would see something about Beth. I hate having to wait so long, but I have found a few more shows on Netflix I think I can entertain myself with until then

I thought it was well done as well. Sometimes it can be scary watching for me as the show pushes so many boundaries and I get afraid they're going to cross a line I can never recover from! I admit this does keep me on the edge of my seat. So glad they didn't get to that point with the Carl scene. TERMINUS appears to be horrid. Hope they're able to make it out of that situation quickly but looking back over the seasons I doubt that's the case. I've always enjoyed the series but the character driven episodes are my favorites. Now that it's over October seems a long time to wait! lol Thankfully Orange Is The New Black will be back soon.

I watched it for the second time last night. As usual, I noticed things I didn't see the first time.

At first, I was a little disappointed with the ending. Rick's proclamation that "they screwed with the wrong people" seemed a little cheesy and weak. But after watching it again and discussing it with someone else, I think it was his way to rally the troops, so to speak. As someone above said, Rick is back. :-)

The whole thing with his relationship with Carl, I'm not so sure about. I can't figure Carl out. Is he mad at his father for what his father has done to people? Is he mad at himself for not living up to whatever he thinks his father expects him to be? Is he just a step or two shy of being a psycho child like Lizzie? I'm just not sure what to think.

So glad the gang is all back together again (well, except Tyrese, Carol, Beth, and Judith). NOT happy that I have to wait all summer! I'm not much of a tv watcher so there isn't anything that can substitute in the meantime. That show they were advertising for the same time slot, Turn, looked good but I missed the first episode last night so I'm not sure I'll bother at this point.
