I thought it was obvious that this thread was all about Operator and her happiness.
Didn't anyone else see that??
When drivers of big trucks are happy, everyone is happy!

I drive a Ford Focus. Does that mean I'll never be happy?

** Sob ** You made me go and eat a pear before I even read your post. How are you feeling now?

PearFreak 01-07-2009 09:35 AM

So, can someone/anyone tell me how to rid the pesky icy mess from staying in my driveway and nearby roads... with out it being work (done by me). Oh wait... never mind. I'll wait until the hubs comes home from work. After all he is coming home early. To clean up the icy mess just for me. :D

We saw a Masarati the other day. They aren't all that rare around here, but we had a discussion on the "holes". We decided that Masarati copied Buick with the holes. We now call Masaratis "Masaratis with Buick holes."

Masarati

Buick

See the holes?

PearFreak 01-07-2009 10:15 AM

I see it, I SEE the holes.

I drive a Chevy , myself. Anyone remember "See the USA in your Chevrolet, America is asking you to call ?"

alinnell 01-07-2009 11:21 AM

I remember see the USA in your Chevrolet, but I don't remember the second part.

I drive an Infininti. Do they have a catch phrase?

bargoo 01-07-2009 11:58 AM

This was the theme song for the Dinah Shore show. I don't remember all of it but she ended by throwing a big kiss.

See the USA in your Chevrolet ...

This what you're looking for?

See the USA in your Chevrolet
America is asking you to call
Drive your Chevrolet through the USA
America's the greatest land of all

On a highway, or a road along the levy
Performance is sweeter, nothing can beat her
Life is completer in a Chevy

So make a date today to see the USA
And see it in your Chevrolet

Traveling East, Travelling West
Wherever you go Chevy service is best
Southward or North, near place or far
There's a Chevrolet dealer for your Chevrolet car

So make a date today to see the USA
And see it in your Chevrolet.
Myself, can't exactly see how this is on topic, but, whatever.

Is it chevy or ford trucks that have the commercials where they show the words on the screen as he says them. That is so irritating to me. I can hear what he is saying and it doesn't make more of an impact for me to have them bouncing around the TV screen. Grrr!

I also have to cringe at the commercials for the trucks with the storage space on the sides. "A place for shovels and stuff... that's pretty frickin cool." GRATING on my nerves.

Topic or lack thereof

Well somebody mentioned a Maserati. that's all it takes. I still like my Chevy, though .I have never had an Italian car although I have had a French car and a German Car and a Japanese car,but not at the same time. I have even had a few cars that are no longer made.

alinnell 01-07-2009 03:43 PM

My car history:

Toyota Celica
Honda Civic
Honda Accord
(all the above were manual)
Chrysler 300M
Infiniti M35

My wish car at the moment is a BMW 650i convertible but there's no way I can afford it!!
