So I called him tonight. "Gee, I thought we told you." he says. "Um, wrong, no you didn't" I says. "What kind of Freaking Idiot shoots ANY gun in the house?" I says. "There just soft pellets." he says. "How soft did it feel when you shot yourself in the leg?" I says. "Yeah, that kinda stung." he says. "You're a :censored::censored::censored::censored:MORON!!!!" I says.

Yes, I knew he was and idiot, but, I thought the worst gun safety rule my X would violate was when he showed me how to shoot then went out and cheated on me. How stupid does a man have to be to watch his wife shoot for the first time and only miss a pop can by an inch on each side at 50 ft, then go out screwing around on her?

Honestly, I about plotzed when I found out what was happening with my child:faint:. For Pete's sake, we are from WYOMING!!!! Everyone knows that a BB gun is the first step in learning gun safety. Rule 1, of course, would be that "Momma knows"!! Rule 2-Never discharge any weapon in the house unless it is at an armed intruder.

When I got done hysterically screaming about what could have happened she looked at me and said, "Yeah, they were ricocheting all over the place." Then those words every Momma wants to hear, "You're right Mom.":hug: I'm just glad she got bored with it. I still might pop about 10 "Soft Pellets" in his a** next visit.

Oh well, what do I expect from a guy who(at 42 yrs old, BTW) shoots off fireworks one block from the main street in our hometown, NOT on the 4th of July. :rolleyes: After several 911 calls reporting "Shots Fired" the cops made him and his best friend sit on the curb, put their right hands up and say "I promise not to shoot off fireworks within the city limits of RS, WY ever again". Betcha coulda guessed that a copious amount of alcohol was involved.:s:

So how do I follow that? I don't have a good story like Operator has!!
