Well...yep...I just left after 4 hours! I have to work Friday and Saturday though....my boss thinks EVERY day is a work day! But in these times I am not complaining! We are really busy right now...don't know why...no cars selling!

Happy New Year !! :newyear: Tonight is our 15th Wedding Anniversary (it would have been 38 except we got off track and divorced for a few years!) we went and had a nice Mexican dinner and now we are relaxing in front of the fire waiting for the midnight hour when we will have our champagne and watch the fireworks being shot off the top of Pikes Peak! Thanks Gary-----We watched them shoot off some fireworks at 9:00 tonight for the younger kids--- Still hoping they ar able to do the big show at Midnight. On the news they said the winds on top of Pikes Peak were blowing about 75mph to 80mph so they are having a hard time with the fireworks. PLUS I imagine it is really cold up there!! Those guys that hike up the Peak every year to shoot off the fireworks sure have more OOOOMPH than I do that's for sure!

I LIVE HERE in FLAT LAND, so no one had to climb a HILL for FIRE works. Our neighbors all WERE VERY BUSY shooting THEM off in their yards so if we had looked out the windows, we would HAVE SEEN plenty. <12>

Just finished 3.25 miles with the mutts to kick off my exercise this year.

My butt seems to be fitting that spot on my recliner a bit too easily during football season.

Watched the fireworks from the Mill last night through the layer of smog. Tonight is Friday for me, Yippee!!!

I should have had a four letter name, but my mom cut out the silent letters in my first and middle names. This was done by order of my older sibs. They hated their long names, so my two names together are the same length as their first names alone.<13>

Thanks for all the congrats!! Pretty strange that we were married for 12 years the first time when we got divorced, then during that time (1982 - 1993) of us being apart we both remarried other people.. Which obviously didn't work out for either of us. Come to find out maybe we weren't so bad together after all---- Strange how things seem to work out.

Yes I do Bill....but mostly the women folk think that....I believe.

We never go out on New Years Eve anymore. We actually have a tradition of going duck/goose hunting very early on New Years Day. Saw some geese, but never took a shot. They were too far away. The were magnificent, though. About 100 of them flew off this one island in the river. BEAUTIFUL!!
