Remember what Mae West said....."When I'm good I'm very good, but when I'm bad I'm better ".

cathydoe 12-03-2009 01:01 PM

Okay....I have read a lot of this thread...I don't get it? Game? Do u have a purpose? Is this idle babble? Am I missing something? Is there a hoop I have to jump through to play? Whazzzzzzzzzz up?

bargoo 12-03-2009 01:17 PM

There is no purpose, yes, it is idle babble, no hoops to jump through.

What? Do we have a purpose? do we have a purpose!??...well for crying out loud...

do we?

cathydoe 12-03-2009 01:36 PM

I see Bargoo my 5 foot friend! HOOT!

Ruthxxx 12-03-2009 01:51 PM

The purpose is to get the thread up to 500 posts so I can close it. (And they always manage to do it when I'm not around and then thumb their little noses at me!)

[QUOTE=EZMONEY;3033256]What? Do we have a purpose? do we have a purpose!??...well for crying out loud...

Do we have a purpose? All of us except EZ...

Slashnl 12-03-2009 03:27 PM

See, we were right when we were miffed when this thread was moved from general chatter to "games". Calling this a game is to assign a goal to it, some kind of purpose, even a value. That makes it intimidating!!

Can we expect to see BILL real soon with the rule book in hand then?

cathydoe 12-03-2009 04:56 PM

Can I have the red color ? The marker that we move around the board. I always like to be the red one...in Sorry or Candy Land or whatever...PLEEEZZZEEEE

EZMONEY 12-03-2009 05:23 PM

You will get the shoe...

but if you stay you can move up the Monopoly ladder....

if not...go to jail

mrsaugie 12-04-2009 08:38 AM

If this is monopoly I'm leaving I hate that game. How about we play Go Fish or something like that.

Good morning everyone.

EZMONEY 12-04-2009 08:44 AM

All I know is you don't want to play Scrabble against my wife if your education is similar to mine...high school grad...2 weeks of college...not counting the classes I missed...

she takes no prisoners!

mrsaugie 12-04-2009 08:46 AM

I don't like playing against MIL or BIL in scrabble they are devious. All though last time we played I came in 2nd to BIL by 10 points normally he is closer to 70-100 points in the lead.

EZMONEY 12-04-2009 09:40 AM

Angie has a real issue with the words I use....seems most of then are not in the Scrabble Dictionary...which I swear she knows by heart!

But then she just hates it when I say..."I ain't got no (fill in the blank)..."

Language arts teachers are hard to live with!

Slashnl 12-04-2009 10:17 AM

Sorry Gary, but that kind of talk drives me crazy too. I especially hate grammar errors from news people on TV or radio. They should know better.

cathydoe 12-04-2009 05:14 PM

Earlier today I posted on here...but I was having internet issues... so the post must be in cyber land somewhere....do u think lost internet posts and the lost socks of the world are having party somewhere?

mrsaugie 12-04-2009 09:29 PM

Cathy that is an interesting question. If they are not having a party maybe the gremlins are taking them. like the sock gremlins, internet post gremlins or even the computer gremlins ( we have a lot of these in our house.) I am more apt to believe it is the gremlins.

EZMONEY 12-04-2009 10:04 PM

Each morning I find that some of my beer is missing from the garage fridge...

dutchgirl 12-05-2009 03:07 AM

No, Gary, the beer isn't missing, it just relocated to your gut.

I'm convinced that every washing machine has a tiny Bermuda Triangle through which socks disappear into another dimension.

Ruthxxx 12-05-2009 06:53 AM

Good morning, Nutcases.

All washing machines have a secret place, Dutchgirl, and so do refrigerators. Yesterday, I emptied mine completely and found a pee sample that never made it to the clinic for testing. I swear I threw it out but it made its way back.

mrsaugie 12-05-2009 08:57 AM

Good morning. My refrigerator has no hidden spaces for old left overs that i know of any way

cathydoe 12-05-2009 08:09 PM

My fridge has some kewl chemical experiments going on!

Gremlins...I bet it is the gremlins...they sure must have warm feet!!

This last week I lost 3 lbs vs my 2 lbs and I think I figured out how I lost that extra lb! This week I have been driving my dh's vehicle and it is a little compact and I have to work to get up and out of it...which I call EXTRA exercise for the week...thus an extra lb! :)

My baby vehicle is back...so I'll be back to sliding out or lifting the butt cheek up ... hummmm what exercise shall I add this week to replace my hauling my body out of the compact car exercise?

Heidi58 12-05-2009 08:35 PM

hmmmm..... you could .......... clean your fridge? ;) lol

mrsaugie 12-05-2009 10:07 PM

clean the fridge?! but then i would be getting rid of some fond memories.

cathydoe 12-05-2009 10:23 PM

Clean fridge? Then I would have tupperware containers to wash and garbage 2 take out!! :dizzy:

Just kidding ... the fridge isn't that bad! But I do have some worm food in there!

I have a worm herd that eats my garbage!

Cathy

srmb60 12-06-2009 01:02 AM

I would have liked to be in bed by now but I have the hiccoughs.

srmb60 12-06-2009 01:37 AM

OK, they're gone. Good night.

Ruthxxx 12-06-2009 07:18 AM

Good, Susan. I was about to send you a get well card!

mrsaugie 12-06-2009 08:43 AM

good morning everyone.

dutchgirl 12-06-2009 11:32 PM

Happy Monday! (an oxymoron if ever I saw one)
Hope you all have a good day

EZMONEY 12-07-2009 09:03 AM

ronni62 12-07-2009 09:32 AM

Hope you all have a great day!

mrsaugie 12-07-2009 11:58 AM

Ruthxxx 12-07-2009 05:58 PM

:cb: :cheer: :snowglo: :snowglo: :snowglo: :cheer: :cb:
I don't even care that the tub guys didn't make it again today - it's December and it's snowing! I'm listening to The Messiah and The Christmas Oratorio so the universe is unfolding as it should!

Oh it is..is it?....

then answer me this RUTH....why did I just realize my new Nativity has only 2 wise men?....I hope to have this resolved by Christmas...thank goodness I have several Nativity's...gonna have to rotate wise men....

cathydoe 12-07-2009 07:05 PM

2 wisemen? I think you got ripped off!

ronni62 where in Ia are you from? (If you want 2 tell me of course.) I live in SE Iowa in a town called Fort Madison and we are under a blizzard advisory! And I talked to a dear friend in Des Moines a little bit ago and they are suppose to get dumped on 2. Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Busy time of year around here for my dh and I. We are in charge of a project called Christmas for Kids, Inc where we give needy children in our area toys and clothes at Christmas. Last year we had 444 children and over 200 families. This is crunch time cuz the Angel Trees come down today and the tags with the gifts were due back today too. My phone has been ringing off the wall this afternoon. Walgreens just called and they have their toys ready to be picked up and then the lady that went to pick them up called and said her vehicle wasn't big enuf. We are so blessed to have such wonderful giving people in our community. So I am busy busy busy.

Take care everyone!

ronni62 12-07-2009 08:46 PM

Cathy-I live near Clear Lake-you know-home of the famous Surf Ballroom and Buddy Holly's, Big Bopper's, Richie Valens' final show

We're getting ready for big snow and possible blizzard tomorrow, so did my grocery shopping today. Don't know when I'll get the Christmas shopping done, but still have a couple weeks.

Have a great evening, everyone!

Karen31 12-07-2009 09:34 PM

Gary, I just can't believe that this economy has even effected the three wise men and they had to cut back!!!
