I'm back...2 cool scars....shaved to the max... now I know what a bikini wax is w/o the pain! Still hurting but much better....tried to post yesterday but...well you all know... I will be back in force soon! Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers! Welcome back PEAR! |

Sunday is happening around here. Church, coffee and chat and then odds and ends of stuff. I have a really overbooked week coming up and need a bit of a head start on it. Sunshine is forecast for the whole week - terrific as the contractors start replacing the Church roof on Monday morning! :cb: |
Not sure yet for me on church...I want to go but Angie said NO! last night...she is worried I will do too much. I wouldn't be able to kneel or go up for communion but I think I could sit through service...I think...not for a few hours yet...we shall see...
Pastor would bring communion back to me... could use some wine... no alcohol for 3 entire days...even though it is allowed now....Angie isn't mad about that! |
oh and FYI...
it was a bilateral hernia surgery....nurse gave me a magic marker to mark the spots I wanted taken care of.... balls were saved...swollen now...but saved! |
Ooooh, sunshine!!! Other than about 2 minutes yesterday ( and I mean Two, no more) I haven't seen sun for a couple of weeks. It is so gloomy and dark here today I have the curtains drawn and the lights on at 2 PM because it is too dark to read otherwise.
Ridiculous, but necessary. |

Survived...a mass sleep over 2@13 yrs, 2@8 yrs & 2@6 yrs old. I was hiding in the kitchen baking snacks and making pizza while the kids play wii with dh...and dh trying to convince the kids they should watch hockey! Hockey sucked Leafs lost again. And news headlines state Leafs torched by Flames... Kids slept from midnight to 8 and now gonna try to get them ready for church.

Our big event here was letting my daughter go on a "real" date with a boy who drives. That was tough. Tougher on my husband, but still hard to watch her walk out of the house and into THAT KID's pickup. Everyone made it home ok, though. He seems like a good kid. |

I was just talking cabbage yesterday...my sister called me for my EZ stuffed cabbage recipe.
No hanging or taping drywall for a few weeks BILL... With my sisters cancer...my bilateral hernia surgery and now my DIL fracturing her wrist and finger tumbling in the game yesterday... thinking of hiring a nurse to watch us all... Angie is "relieved" to go back to work after 4 days of playing nurse with me... |

OK so my dear daughter in law....talk of the town since she was proposed to at the game yesterday...fractured her finger and wrist in 3 places...in a cast now...
her and my son paying for her mom to fly out for the Bengal game on the 20th of Dec. She hasn't been able to see her cheer for the Chargers yet and my dil will "retire" after this season. Send your best prayers that she is good to go by then, ok TEAM?! |
