Good mornin' from Iowa too! Sunny today-hard to believe after the gloom for the last couple days!

And it was a lovely day here in Amsterdam as well, saw the first bit of real sunshine in a couple of weeks. It is ridiculously busy at work, so I didn't have a lot of time to enjoy it, but somehow ridiculously busy feels so much better when the sun is shining than when it is all gloomy out.

Sunny here in Colorado too, but darn cold!!!!

Warm and sunny here...cooling trend coming for a few days...could get into the 50's....brrrr....

It is storming here! It rained horizontally this afternoon and the ride home on the scooter was definitely interesting - the kind of interesting you don't want.

HA! I actually bought some and corn too...just in case...plus they were on sale for .88 a bag! But the nurses sent me home with a really cool refillable ice bag...doc said use it from Thurs to Sat...done with it.

good morning every one. i see we are off to an early start here today

How was everyones day. mine was a day a rainy day but a day.

I goofed off most of the day but did go out for lunch with a friend. Right now I'm waiting for CAA to come and unlock my car. I left the keys in it and cleverly locked the doors. Yes, I know I need another set. Maybe for Christmas?

Plenty of kids in my neighborhood could get into your car w/o those keys Ruth.

Sorry Ruthie, but the kids who were busting into cars in my neighborhood got busted finally(take that you little pos bf of my oldest who accused my youngest of breaking his car window :p). Wondering if they are the same ones that caused the big explosion at Big O Tire.

Hey!! Did anyone else see the meteor that lit up the sky over UT? I was out on my back porch when it lit up. I thought the cops were spotlighting around for more vandals. FREAKY!!!! It suddenly turned daylight for about a second at midnight.

And you were on your back...on your porch...why...again?

Operator, that sounds sooo cool! My BF is into astronomy (ok, so he's a nerd) and he will be totally jealous when I tell him about your meteor!

Around here, November is too darned cold to be out watching meteors or lying on porches although I might consider it.
The kid from CAA took forever to get into my car - he said "Them Ford Focuses is hard!" It took him nearly an hour but he finally did it. By then the evening was shot so I made dinner, watched TV and went to bed - not nearly as exciting as meteors.

Don't think I could ever stay up until midnight to see one anymore.

Up now though...have been since 4:30...

:wave: Friday...no headache:D...bills are paid:p....wish I had some money left to go shopping and get out of the house for awhile;)...and wish I knew what our Thanksgiving plans were, so I'd know what I need to be shopping for:?:...darn DH for not calling HIS mom, HIS son, or HIS sister to decide what we're going to be doing! grrrrrr!!!

Dang, Ruthie. It doesn't take me that long to get into a locked car!!! I learned how when I locked my keys in my car on the way here from back home. Thank heavens I did it while parked next to a tow truck driver. You just use two shims and pry the door open enough to get a hook to the lock or door handle. Can't use a Slim Jim anymore since the manufacturers began putting blocks in the doors to prevent theft.

And, no EZ, I still haven't recovered a regular sleep cycle since doing shift work, so I was up during the meteor event. But, quite a few folks who don't have aluminum foil on their bedroom window(like me) were actually woken up by the bright flash of light and the boom a few minutes later. Hey all. I have a day off today. So, instead of getting my projects done around the house... I'm staring at the computer. I'm so useless!
But having the house to myself is so rare, I'm enjoying it.
