CONGRATS ON MEETING YOUR JUNE GOAL!!!That's wonderful! What's your July goal going to be?

Okay, I meant to tell you all about my daughter's doctors appointment yesterday, but I was sooo tired and didn't feel like typing it out, but I'm better now, so here goes:
When Leslie (my daughter) was 2, she shoved a Q-tip into her ear and it started bleeding. When it happened, I call the ER and asked them if I should bring her in, but they said no because it she ruptured her ear drum there is nothing they could do. Soooo, now she is almost 5, and the ear is STILL hurting her. When she had her tonsils taken out last year, the doc said that she would need surgery on her ear. So, we took her to a specialist yesterday. He looked in her ear, and said she has a BIG hole in there. So he tested her hearing, and she has a slight-to-moderate loss in that ear. So he is sending us to ANOTHER specialist to see when they will do surgery. They might do it now, or they might wait until she is older since she is still at the age where she is prone to ear infections. They said the hole might be hard to repair though, because it's so big. My poor baby. Anyways, I got the impression that if they can fix the hole, she'll get her hearing back, but I hate to see her have surgery...*sigh*.
Anyways....whew! That was long--sorry!

Morning Workout~Tae Bo Cardio ( I looove that DVD! I'm getting so good at it!!)

Evening Workout~Strength & Sculpt section of The Biggest Loser, and 2 Mile High Calorie Burn w/3lb weights.

MICHELE -- A big CONGRATS to you for completing your June goal, and even early!!!

CASSIE -- I'm so sorry for your poor daughter. What a terrible thing, because the ears are such a touchy thing. I sure hope they can fix it. You're also doing GREAT!

Hi!

Michele- Fantastic that you met your goal! You inspire me to set a goal next month and work towards it.

Cassie, I'm sorry to hear about Leslie needing surgery. Let us know what the specialist tells you, okay hon? If it will restore the hearing loss she's suffered, it will be worth it in the long run. My daughter Hannah (11 years old) had to have two surgeries in April - one a major back surgery, the second an outpatient surgery. I know for a fact that kids recover so quickly and are so resilient. I know it will be hard on you worrying about her!

Hi Michelle, Has it cooled off yet for you guys?

I never exercised today. I went with my husband to his doctor. He's having knee surgery in July to try to alleviate some of the pain he's had from a fall last year. Like an idiot, I was putting something in my purse, and didn't notice a hole in the parking lot. I fell and banged up my knee and twisted my ankle. I'm staying off of my ankle tonight and may stay home from work tomorrow if it is still hurting like it is tonight.

Take care!

TAMMY -- Yes, it finally cooled down today and only got up in the low 80s; I actually felt normal again! I'm so sorry to hear about your fall. I hope your ankle feels better by tomorrow morning, but if not, maybe you should have it looked at. I do have to say girlie ~ CONGRATS on another pound gone! I noticed you lost another pound, and you are doing wonderful!!!

Thanks, ladies for your kind words!

Cassie, sorry to hear abour your daughter's ear trouble. Hopefully, it will fix the problem, even though surgery on your child is scary.

Tammy, take care of that ankle! Better to miss a few days of work and exercise and have it heal right up than injure it more seriously by pushing too hard!

Michelle, glad to hear it finally cooled off for you! We must be getting what you've just had. I had to turn the AC back on tonight--it was 81 in the house at 8pm!

Tomorrow is the last day of June already! What shall we do for July?!?!

Have a nice evening!

Michele

DD's last day of softball was a HOT, STICKY one! It started at 10 and we finally left at 1! As a result, I got a bit of a sunburn, too! Needless to say, I didn't really want to exercise, but I did it to keep my streak going (Day 182). So, I did the 2 mile with 3 pound weights tonight.

Have a great evening!

Michele

Good evening everyone! I'm feeling good because I REALLY put alot of energy into my workouts today instead of just going through the motions...I think I am getting a little bored and am ready to order some new DVD's...I REALLY want the 3 mile express, the 4 mile express, and the advanced 5 mile. Anyone have any of these, and what do you think of them? Also, how does the 3 mile express differ from the 3 Mile Super Fat Burning Walk?

Morning Workout~ 3 Mile Super Fat Burning Walk w/3lb weights

Evening Workout~ Strength & Sculpt Section of The Biggest Loser and Walk/Kick.
