Morning, coffee please. How do you think my kids are going to react to a minimal dessert Christmas dinner? I've got a ton of raw veggies for nibbles ... no cookies ... no candies ... just pie.

Minimal is better than haveing none if they complain you can tell them that...

DD got a new scale ... everybody tried it.
I even have pie left-over!:joker:

I wish every Christmas get-together could be as relaxed and fun as ours was yesterday

Coffee please ... I'm working this morning.

I'll have a skinny hot chocolate - no cream ;)

Can I bring my BfL Festive Apple Pie to eat in? It's got cranberries... :D

I'm off to the gym at lunch, so am stoking the fires for some extreme lifting and plyometrics.

I forgot a whole salad! DS and I are up getting ready for work and there's a huge bowl in the fridge still!
Broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, celery etc in no fat Italian .... Voila! lunch! (for about six days)

I'm going to ride the bike today. It was too windy over the weekend and it's supposed to get rainy the next few days, so this may be my best chance. I gotta do something to burn all that junk I ate on the weekend. Ugh!
:bike2:

This morning I had a great 5k run... I need to burn major calories too...

Such a relaxing morning. No kids to drive to school!!! LOL I still got up early and instead of spending an hour in the car, I spent 20 minutes on the Nordic Track! Yippee, I'm exercising again!

I've already had my coffee, egg whites and tofu sausage. I'm ready for a cup of tea.

Jen, can you post the recipe? That sounds delish!

BfL Festive Apple Pie

1 Brambley cooking apple
1/2oz dried cranberries
splenda to taste

cut up apple, sprinkle with cranberries and splenda. Microwave for 1 min

After cooking put 1/2C oats on top then sprinkle with the tiniest bit of dark brown muscovado (this makes ALL the difference) I figure about half a teaspoon then cook for a further 1 min in the micro

whizz half a cup of cottage cheese with vanilla and splenda to taste then put on top of "apple pie" when it's come out of the micro.

It's mega-filling and mega-tasty :T

Thanks, Jen, that not only sounds great but easy too!!!

Jazzbird 12-18-2006 01:18 PM

I'm back from the ride--that was so much fun! I'll have a tall glass of sparkling water with a cranberry juice chaser, please.

Morning!

2frustrated 12-19-2006 07:22 AM

:hyper: My order at the Costo cafe.... 1 and a bit litres of Pepsi Max!

:hyper:

Ooooh I'd better do some kickin' workouts at the gym, I'm buzzing!

I resisted the hot dogs that other people with me were having!

Jazzbird 12-19-2006 10:51 AM

Coffee here, please! I'll just read the paper a while.

srmb60 12-20-2006 08:51 AM

I had a lovely sleep in! Can I have coffee if I'm still in my pyjamas?
