You all must have the cold we normally get. It's supposed to be several degrees above freezing again today.
Is there any low fat quiche this morning?

Jazzbird 12-22-2006 10:19 AM

I'll have coffee, please,

It's not cold here. It's supposed to get up to 60F, which my handy-dandy conversion tool tells me is about 15C. There's a doozie of a winter storm going on in Colorado, but it doesn't appear to be coming this way,

Becky--my parents are down there in Texas visiting my sister and BIL for the holiday. Glad to hear the weather is nice--they were snowed in back in Utah before they left.

Susan--although it is not technically cold here, I'm freezing! It was 43 when I left for work and it should get up to 60-65. I much prefer 70-75!

I'll just have a cup of tea. I already had my egg whites and "sausage" for breakfast and all I need is something to warm me up.

Have a great day everyone!

Today is Christmas eve eve. Two eves is about the time when I begin to cross over to that magical realm where sleigh bells seem perfectly normal, even though it's 35 degrees at night and there's not a hint of precipitation, snowy or otherwise. Happy Christmas eve eve! eveybody.

srmb60 12-23-2006 05:26 AM

Happy Christmas eve eve to you too Becky.
I'm off to work this morning. 4 more shifts then vacation!
Then we go to my Mom's this evening.

It's eve eve! I'd forgotten about that! :D

I've had a Christmas show on the radio, put some washing in, done some washing up tidied up a bit and this morning I took 2 sacks of rubbish to the charity shop and then braved Sainsbury's for some cottage cheese and soya milk! It wasn't too bad but some old hag of a woman was screaming at her husband to "Shat up!" :lol3: I like watching other people get stressed out for no reason!

Jazzbird 12-23-2006 05:23 PM

Can I get tea on Christmas eve eve? I'll have a lemon chai. I bought the last presents this morning and I've been cleaning all afternoon. Tomorrow I start cooking. It's good to sit down--this Christmas stuff is a lot of work. Well, back to battling dust bunnies.

srmb60 12-24-2006 05:27 AM

Joyous Christmas eve, y'all!
Went to see my family last eve. Mom made turkey, yum. It was a nice get-together.

 I'll have a Diet Pepsi while I'm here!

I think I'm all chored out! I did washing up and ironing :faint: yesterday.... I was bored though! I'm trying to find the energy to go downstairs and wash the motorbike before it's put away for its week holiday. :scoot:

Good news on the weight front - I'm down a whole pound for the month :D :dancer: and 3lbs down from post-honeymoon-bulge, so I'm a happy little bunny! I'm mightily surprised since I've been snacking on mince pies and baileys :o however I haven't ever gone over 2000kcals this week or 10 days past, so I guess that's ok. My average for the month is under 2000, so I guess I've found a bit of a sweet spot at the moment since I have had a few days where I've been scoffing 3000kcals! :D

I'm feeling positive for Xmas, and I'm looking forward to getting some nice lean protein down my neck tomorrow... I could only find pepperoni pizza to eat today :o But it IS thin crust... ;)

I had to go out specially yesterday to buy cottage cheese and soya milk! The house is full of trifle and mince pies and turkey, but no good stuff!

:candy:Merry Christmas, everybody! I can't sleep, so I'm seeing Christmas in here. I haven't seen the big guy yet, but we've got milk and cookies out. Ho, ho, ho!

srmb60 12-25-2006 05:33 AM

Merry Christmas! Well he's been here ... he left me coffee mugs!

srmb60 12-26-2006 05:32 AM

Happy Boxing Day everyone! Coffee please!

2frustrated 12-26-2006 09:13 AM

I got hand-wraps and some flirty clothes :D

Pepsi-Max for me pleasy, I'm trying to get some energy together to carry on tidying!

nomorefatpants 12-26-2006 02:02 PM

What exactly happens on Boxing Day?

2frustrated 12-27-2006 12:34 PM

You generally eat leftovers and lie in bed for an extra day!

I can't remember the exact interpretation of Boxing day, it may be something to do with actual boxes...

DH informs me it's named after putting boxes of gifts out for the poor... I'd have to wiki..
