HI GALS
I hope this finds everyone well as the week comes to an end. As you know, it hasn't been a great week for me but I am doing pretty good considering. I have a lot of support with family and friends and 3FC. You gals have been AWESOME!
I made a pot of Grandma Judi's chili in my mom's honor. We were always together when she made chili for the family, it seems like. Back when we were kids, when family came (back when people made big batches of food when company came and not KFC!) She made it when we got together for games at her place with the guys....nothing special...we just all loved it!
Little things remind me of her, as it should be....was watching the CBS morning show while on the treadmill this morning, when it went to the national weather and gave the forcast for the Illinois area, I thought of her, as I always did when I saw it....we always talked about the weather when I called her on the week-end

So predictable! I will miss those phone calls. Doing better each day.
I was supposed to be there, in Illinois to see her, this week-end with my kids. We had planned to fly out and had tickets for Thursday to Sunday for them...Thursday until next week for me. OH well...so much for planning!
I am still doing well with my "better choices" and exercise. I was off today, Angie took the dogs on a run this, morning before her work, so I jumped on the treadmill, turned on the TV and the next thing I knew I had gone 90 minutes and 6 miles! I was at 173.6 this morning, twice this week I have hit that. I am still trying to lose, I could go another 5 pounds easy in the "belly" department

Mostly though I am trying to maintain what I have lost and not gain, if I lose too, all the better. Any

"turkey cushion" I could get for Thanksgiving would be fine with me! Angie and I do a 5K Thanksgiving morning so I am guaranteed to get my walk in that day. My ex-wife's sister will join us for sure again this year, sometimes the kids do too, I haven't talked with them yet on their plans.
Prayer up-dates:
My daughter in law talked to her father, Jeff, this week on the phone, this is a first since he went into the coma. He said he remembered her being there 2 weeks ago, she isn't sure if he really did. She told him he was getting better and he said "Yes, but it's hard." She seems to think he is "thinking" and not answering out of "memory".....either way, seems much better than before! I am so happy for her. She told me at my nephew's birthday party "Dad, it sure has been a tough few months for "our" family hasn't it."
Scotty has shown "a little" progress. I guess his eyes open from time to time which is a good thing....but...not much more just yet. Still, all in all, it appears to be progress.
RENNIE ~I am sorry your father wasn't good to you

but I am glad he was to your son. I thank you for all your prayers and for your psoting here, it has really helped us to continue our growth and support here for each other!
LORI ~I thank you for your prayers. I am sorry to hear the boy is having trouble again, how frustrating it must be for you. I am also sorry to hear your father is not saved...
yet!....we will keep praying! Your pastor is right, sometimes we need to just back off and let God be God. We can't "make" someone believe no matter how hard we try. I understand the frustration and ANGER

we get when we can't get The Message through! You must remember though that
it is and always will be a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ that we have.It is a gift
wehave...and all can have...some just don't want it. You must not carry their burden dear...you just can't! That is what Christ did for us so we wouldn't have to! Continued prayers!
WILMA ~I hope your "confidence builder" doesn't cost DH too much

Great news with the new "gym"...no excuses now! Enjoy "your" Thanksgiving.
AUNT SUE ~I hope your elliptical works out for you, they can be hard on the knees so be careful, ok? Glad that the news is good on the recovery. We are so thankful for that! Thank-you for all your prayers.
SUSAN ~Prayers for the Wood's family. How
CAROL ~I am sorry on the loss of your mother. I am happy you were to spend some time with her at her earth life's end. You are right, you just never know. Enjoy the time fixing up the house with your daughter.
ROSEBUD ~Thank you for the help on my daughter's blog. I know she appreciates it. Your mother sounds like she was a wonderful woman...I know she rasied a wonderful daughter. I loved your TRUE THANKSGIVING. Than you for all your prayers and thoughts for myself and family.
MARGIE ~Thank-you. I hope you and your kiddo are well. Tennis anyone?

Well I will try to do better with my posting!
Have a great week-end ladies. It is our pastor's
40th ANNIVERSARY in the ministry, 38 at our church. We are having a big day and luncheon for him on Sunday, should be fun. I am glad I can go.
