Oh man I'm gonna die! Just had an hour spinning with Will who basically works you 'til you bleed and beg for mercy then give you the quickest of cool-downs. My legs are burning!

Hi all! We walked 2 miles last night, total so far is 10.6 for June only 33.4 to go. DH has twinged a nerve in his back, though so I'm on my own for a few days I think.

This morning - my stability ball, and to mix things up, a Bahngra Masala aerobics routine. I LOVE IT (and my word, does it work the shoulders - your arms are up, moving your shoulders, at least half of the workout), plus my 100 crunches.

When I first got my heart rate monitor, I was surprised by how little my rate increased while doing aerobics ... until ... I started moving my arms. That really improves things!

Everyone seems to be doing really good this week. Just got back from doing 30 minutes of the Couch to 5K program (walk/jog), and then finished it off with a 1/2 mile cool down walk - giving me a total 40 minutes. The temps are much better in the evening than right after work (4p). It seemed easier to keep on going.
Have a great weekend!

I didn't get my bike ride in last night. I got called to work for a few hours. But I did my little jog in the morning and weights for legs.

I did walk/jog intervals Friday morning, total of 3.25 miles. Boy, was I ever glad to hobble back to my car! Still, it was nice to be outside in the woods. There's a national park near my house which has a 10 mile paved loop with a lane just for pedestrians & cyclists. Very hilly. I bought a parking pass so I've no excuses to avoid the place from now on.

Total so far for June- 13.8 miles. Pledged 44; 30.2 miles to go.
