LOL Lena don't feel bad. I laughed when you said I would have a high day today.... I went to church and home (though my church IS lively so we kind of bop around a lot LOL) and this afternoon I have been updating my resume to apply for a job promotion where I work and submitted it; then laid in bed with a magazine. Don't expect any great contributions from me today LOL.

Sunday is typically my lazy day. <G>

Ok, well, I told you yesterday would be pathetic (along with my slacker Saturday), but at least I broke 2,000! Just barely, but what can I say? I was a total couch potato for the weekend .

Sunday, March 5 = 2,008

Total contributed since the start of our trek = 143,395

I'll have some bigger numbers to contribute this week, I promise! Starting today!

Make it a good one, folks!

Hey, I am a slacker at times too, especially on Sundays. Since I didn't have the pedometer in the morning, I don't have an exact count but I know it was at least a gigantic 2000 also so that is what I am counting for yesterday.

Weekends are usually my slow time, too. But yesterday (Sunday) was pretty good! March 5 steps: 9211 for a total of 59241 in March!

Happy stepping!

Michele : )

Yesterday I did a whopping 6,467 steps! I was actually pretty pleased with that, since weekends are usually slow days for me as well. Today should be a GREAT day for me. I'm heading off to Sea World! I live a couple miles from there, so I get a season pass and go a LOT. I'll probably be going every week or two this season. I'm normally there for about 4 hours on average, and more than half of that is just walking. So I should get plenty of steps in!

Great job, Michele and Lydia! Wow, Lydia, our total may spring up there when you get back from Sea World LOL.

Well mine are picking up since I got my new pedometer LOL. I actually probably got FEWER than in the past couple weeks, my pedometer got more and which sounded more realistic based on past walking. So today I got 11,586.

Our total is 412,563!!

Still to go = 587,437!

Wow we are really cranking these steps out!!!

I had a great walking day yesterday! I logged 13659 steps, which brings my total to exactly 72900 for the month!

Hoping for more today as my son and I have some shopping to do to get ready for his birthday party on Friday. Shopping always makes the walking happen and yet you don't even feel it!

Happy Tuesday!

Michele

Great job folks!

I can't wait to see what Lydia's Sea World total is!

Dance, another great one for you!

And look at Michelle go! I agree, walking about the mall just lets the steps sneak up on you! Happy birthday-to-come to your little one!

As for me, I managed 10,526 yesterday. That's 5x what I did on Sunday! Not sure yet how today is going to pan out.

Keep steppin' everyone! At this rate, I bet we'll break 500K by the weekend!

Well, yesterday wasn't quiiiite what I thought it would be. We didn't stay as long as we normally do since we had other stuff to do yesterday. But between Sea World and the hardware store and mowing the lawn (manual mower, no power!) I managed a grand total of....

9977 steps! Why couldn't I have gone the extra 33? I climbed into bed last night, threw the covers over me and checked my pedometer and I'm like "aww man! I don't want to get up now." Close enough :P

Hehe I so know what you mean, Lydia! Once I get in bed, that's all she wrote (old-timey phrase, I know!). Still, 9,977 is nothing to sneeze at! Great day! Hope you had fun at Sea World!

LOL Lydia... I laughed at your message as I did so well today... but had just a few short of 13,000... so I thought if I walk up to get my mail I can hit 14,000! I got home and I am about 40 steps short... so I am leaving the pedometer on just until I hit the mark LOL! I am not doing much tonight except get dinner (leftovers from my yummy crockpot meal) and crawl into bed with a magazine!!!

Default A step at a time

Off to a slow start, but here it is :

Sunday, March 5 - 7,254 (+2 hours yardwork, pedometer doesn't measure that but my muscles do
Monday, March 6 - 6,109
Tuesday, March 7 - 8,629

Steps this week: (so far) 21,992
Total number of steps: 21,992

Trying to get to that 10K a day mark!

Yay HealthierMe, good for you! And hey remember this is not a race or a contest... we are all part of a team and every step you get in is an accomplishment!

I could not believe how well I did today... whew, I walked both breaks and 45 mins at lunch... then up to get my mail when I got home... for a total of 14,193!

Our grand total so far is 482,910!!!

Still to go = 517,090.

Wow we are going to hit 500,000 today probably as several have not reported in!! I am glad we started having the posts every day or as often as people like... it is more fun when we are racking them up all the time. So everyone please go ahead and post whenever you want. And thanks for keeping your own overall totals too and posting them so I can double check myself!!
