Smile Yay!

I went back to Curves today, and I lost two more pounds! This is INSANE! Is this normal? Four pounds in a week? I know it's all water weight, but I don't care! I'm just happy it's GONE!!!

I'm so bad about weighing in. I don't weigh in every time I'm at Curves, but it's so hard not to! I just weighed myself Monday, and then I weighed myself again today (I just couldn't resist!). It's a habit!

I've been at it only 2 weeks now, and I've lost about 14 pounds. If you count from March 2005, I've lost 19 pounds! I re-joined Curves exactly 10 days ago, and I've been 6 times since then. Let's hope I can keep it up!!

You guys are such an inspiration to me! We can do this together.

Good for you, and you will be surprised how much is NOT water weight when you do your monthly weigh in. My first month I lost like 17 lbs and I thought oh yeah 10 of that is water but really only like 6 of it was. Keep up the good job. Im still holding I have to quit my lil cheats at night and I will be back on the loss track.

Question questions

Hi Ladies -

Is is o.k. to go to curves everyday or do you need to rest your muscles?

How much have you all lost your first month? I did'nt get real serious until Monday but I cheated and stepped on the scale this morning and it puts me down 3 pounds which I'm happy with but 1) it's not the same scale and 2) I did'nt weigh myself on it before I started. Anyway I'm just curious what the norm is. Is it true that you are going to either lose weight or inches but not alot of both at the same time?

I already feel so much better. I actually have energy for the first time in a long time .

Wow Kelly -

I am most impressed by your inches lost. I am now in a 22/24 and would love to be able to get into a 16. It's been SOOO long. You are doing such an awesome job I hope I can do as well as you.

I also love the feeling you get when you walk through the door of Curves. It's so nice to have women who won't judge when you can't do the leg press so well because of all the extra padding around your middle .

Thank You and keep up the Great work.

Just to let you know I DRASTICAL changed my eating habits. AS of Dec 26 2004 I went LOW carb. I have had NO bread, pasta, soda, potatos, ANY junk at all even my fav chocolate. I drink at the least 120 oz of water a day. So that had a big deal of it all. I even switched to Decafe coffee.

Hi Kelly -

I have tried the low carb and been successful but I don't like it . I am just eating 5 to 6 small meals a day and trying to stay away from flour and such as best I can. Lots of fruits and vegtables and lots and lots of water.

I am an ice cream nut. I swear I'm addicted . Anything sweet was my motto. I was not even eating regular meals. I have changed all that.

I went to curves Mon, Tues, Thurs. and plan to go today. Wed. I did the treadmill but would prefer to go to curves. I just want to mix it up a little so I don't get bored and I can stick to it. I tend to start out strong then peter out. That's why I joined this board to get inspiration from others going through the same thing.

I worked out today and did a mini weigh in (just measure body fat, weight, and my waist) because I just could NOT take it anymore! I went all 6x this week and man do I feel good! In just 12 days, I lost 2 inches off of my waist, 6 lbs, and 1% body fat. It keeps me motivated! 3.5 of those lbs were fat. Yeah!!!

You guys are great! Keep Curving!

I did bad this weekend. I mean, I exercised on Saturday (took Sunday off) and i went out to eat both weekend nights!! Ahhh! I'll still try to salvage this diet, no matter what. I came too far to just throw it all away. I'll just keep telling myself that, and I'll feel better, right??
