  • I've been steadily going to Curves for at least 3x a week now! woo hoo! I'm down to 150 now.

  • I just joined this week and have gone twice so far. So far I really like it. I think I can really stick to going. Hoping to go 4-5 times a week when my liitle guy is at pre-k. Looking forward to going back on Monday!
  • If I may ask.....what are the membership fees?

    I was thinking on starting up with them this week...I hate it when they dont publish the fees..lol
  • I have a free consultation tomorrow and possibly signing up..I can't wait.....

    I hear its a great program. Do you see lots of results from it?

    I go to ladies workout express, which is a curves clone.. I am really excited becuz they are starting a new program there called "boot camp" 3 nights aweek where they will "crank up" the machines for those who want a bigger challenge!! I think it will be a lot of fun!!
  • I see tons of results from it! Since april 2005, I have lost 35 pounds there, 5 inches from my waist, 12 PERCENT body fat, 4 inches from my bust, and I can't remember the other measurements off of the top of my head. But it's a GREAT workout for losing weight! Highly recommended!!!

    Hi there....well, It's a new year and a new diet. I went to my local Curves and signed up for the 6 week diet course that starts next week. Today was my first day for a workout. It felt good, although I'm not stiff at all. I guess that I'll learn to challenge myself more by after I learn the machines. Anyhow, I've decided to try my best. I plan to go back tomorrow.

    Just got finished reading all 10 pages of posts and I have to say you ladies who have lost on Curves are in inspiration to me!! I joined Curves last night and got my first workout in and loved it! The time zoomed by! I'm looking forward to working out 3x/week and doing my elliptical on my days off.

    Good luck to you on your adventure. I just started Curves last week, and had my first weight loss challenge class today. It all seems very doable, which is a nice change. I am trying to break it down to little challenges, and not get bogged down with the idea that I need to lose so much weight. Just 10 pounds at a time
    I am happy that you posted. I just posted several days ago and have seen very little activity.

  • Hi, I just joined Workout Express.....very similar to Curves and have only been twice......I plan to go 3 X's a week. I am a bit older but it seemed to be fine, I didn't push myself, going to learn the machines, let my body get use to the idea for a couple of weeks and then work harder.....I did feel it in a few places but that is because I am so out of shape. Had this bad cold for a week now and haven't been able to workout but I can't wait til next week.

    I'm finished my 5th workout this morning. I actually got up this morning and worked out before work! I'm just really liking this workout and feel it is something I can stick with. The time goes by so fast!

    I didn't want to weigh myself until I was 1 month in, but I couldn't help myself. I'm already down 5 pounds!

    How is everyone else doing?
