Oh it's only 2 hours and 15 minutes but yes everyday, I started with just 30 minutes a day. The 3 times a day burns a lot of calories and it's stops the oxidation of my musscles. I had gotten up to 110 minutes start everyday but I was smelling of ammonia, so I stopped that and broke up the time to 3 times a day.

Yes everyday, but it's probably the green tea it has a lot of caffeine. I had six large glasses today. We are not so scary just motivated to get fit. We try to be each others cheerleaders. And like I've said I started out with 30 minutes a day, and I'm trying to reach a goal that is coming up fast that's why I've stepped up my game. My goal is to get to my target weight by the new year, I may not get there by 1/1 but I'll get close.

BTW Welcome.

Yes but also to inspire each other to keep going because some weeks you work your butt off and the scale doesn't move. It's nice to have the support of others on the same path. Welcome

WSChick 08-29-2009 01:00 AM

Thank you both for clarifying for me.

This is a great thread and it does motivate me, especially since the scale hasn't budged in almost 2 weeks.

And "travelingmichele" I love cruises :)

Onederchic 08-29-2009 11:11 AM

I have a question.

I want to change my routine but I want to know does it seem like it will be enough.

Those DVDs I received, I want to utilize them. Most have cardio w/ hand weights and they are 20 minute sessions. If I do 4 of them a day for 5 days a week still adding in full body weight training for 3 days..is it enough? :|

Onederchic 08-29-2009 11:12 AM

Oh and I just finished a 20 minute cardio interval w/ hand weights (5lb x 2)

Yes it's enough, but to break it why don't you take a walk? Just get outside and enjoy the summer. BTW great job on the workout's!

I don't get out walking or much of anything else because I have some slight issues with being in public. I was diagnosed with mild agoraphobia a couple years ago so :o

Mmmm yes that does make it hard, maybe taking your husband with you, might make you feel safer. When I was heavier I hated being seen in public I was so self-aware of being overweight but I'm over that now, because I took the steps to lose the weight to feel at ease in my own skin. We all have our issues but it's the courage to face them head on that makes us stronger and in the end better people because our hearts grow and we become more compassionate toward ours.
