Awesome !!!!
Great goals too :carrot:

Along with my other workout earlier...
This evening we walked up to the park, walked the track and then walked home. 2 miles or so ?

borntobefine 09-03-2009 05:29 AM

Everyone is kicking butt.
I got mine kicked today - lol.
W6D1 - done. The last interval was hard because I increased my speed from 3mph to 3.5mph. 2.25 total miles in 40 mins.
After a short break I did 17 mins HIIT - incline at 15, 10 and 5 between 2 and 3mph. Did last 2 mins at no incline but 4mph.
Hard to breathe. Thought for sure I would did - lol.
Ready for day 2 - woohoo.

pintobean 09-03-2009 07:47 AM

Morning :sunny:

Yesterday - Walk @ work and weight training - complete.

Today - Ab RipperX and Treadmill

Michelle, you shouldn't feel like a weakling. I totally understand how you feel as I cannot lift a lot either but by consistent lifting we build endurance, muscle and strength so you can lift more and more. You'll get there eventually. That's what I keep telling myself :). Just make sure, when you're able to do more reps/set with the same weight (for example, for biceps, if you were doing 8 reps/set @ 10lb but now you can do 10 reps/set @ 10lb) then you can switch the weight size. Just don't hurt yourself (like I did) and make sure your form is correct. It is very easy to hurt yourself when doing weight training.

I think I hurt my right arm during one of the routines. I don't know whether it happened during bicep curls or pull ups. I iced and took some advil yesterday but it still hurts. So, I'm thinking it is not inflamed but something else is going on. We'll see.

Everyone, keep up the good work. I'm so happy you guys are all working hard here. Keeps everyone in check and motivated :)

Onederchic 09-03-2009 08:17 AM

thistime140 09-03-2009 04:03 PM

mine isnt the typical exercise, as today was mow the lawn day!! That may not sound like much, but I have 3 hills at a severe slope...good for the arms as I push up from the bottom, and pull back up from the top!!
and it usually takes me 3-3.5 hours to get the entire 1.5 acre mowed and trimmed! also great for the glutes, as I push the mower up the hills...trust me, I feel it in the legs and butt...
Thats my workout for the day!!

IgetfitNStrongforme 09-03-2009 04:07 PM

Remember we are all worth it.

I just finished my 2nd 45 minute session of :ebike: exercise of the day, and I feel so much better now because I got that news but even if I hadn't I would still have exercised. I believe that with all of us, no matter what happens in our lives our health is too important to neglect it anymore, that's what got us into this mess in the first place. I am so proud of everyone sticking with their exercise programs and pushing through to get it done. Remember we are all worth it.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

IgetfitNStrongforme 09-03-2009 07:04 PM

I just finished my last 45 minutes of :ebike: exercise for the day, but I think I pushed myself too hard again because I was smelling of ammonia again. That's why I broke up my exercise into 3 segments to stop the ammonia, I wish I could figure out why this keeps happening. I eat enough calories and 45 minutes is well below the stress level trainers warn about. :?:

Onederchic 09-03-2009 07:36 PM

30 minutes cardio finished

Total today = 100 minutes cardio (with two 5lb handweights)

borntobefine 09-04-2009 01:30 AM

Great going everyone. You guys totally rock!!
I am feeling withdrawal. No exercising of any type for me until Monday or Tuesday. I am actually wishing the time would fly by.

WSChick 09-04-2009 03:21 AM

Well I missed my evening walk with the Hubbs but I did a 30 min walk/run in place and 100 crunches. The pedometer read 3940 but I'm not sure if a pedometer works the same way when you walk in place ?

pintobean 09-04-2009 08:29 AM

Morning Ladies :sunny:

Yesterday - Ab Ripper X and Treadmill - check!

Today - walk @ work only...no Weight Training.

Till then, keep up the good work ladies. Don't slip or slide. Stay on track no matter how hard. One step at a time, baby! One step at a time. :D
