Angie is at a yoga retreat but the girls and I did the Starbucks walk this morning...and skipped the coffee...just kept on going...we were on a roll....did the 4 miles in one hour 5 minutes...and that was with 2 poos...throwing my son's paper from the drive to his porch when we passed and a lot of sniffy sniffs...

Boy, I haven't checked in for a while... basically I totally slacked off after the marathon. A couple of 50 mile months in a row and now I need a plan to make sure I hit 1000 miles in 2009!

After my weekend running - 959 year to date. If I stay on pace, I should hit 1000 miles by the end of October!

This is definitely the most miles I've ever run in any year. I think the last time I tracked, I clocked around 800 miles total. I've been much more consistent this year and doing higher-mileage weeks then ever before; even during the summer "off season" our group kept a 10-12 mile long run base. And I'm very happy to have stayed injury-free. It is surprising how quickly the miles add up over time.

Just got back from Austin, Texas -- wow, they are VERY running-oriented there. And dog-oriented. Great trails all along the river which runs right through the downtown. Loved it!

I'm up to 574.97 running. Finally broke 1000 miles biking, 1001.45, yippee!

I officially crossed the 1000 mile mark on Saturday morning! After Sunday's 12 miler and this morning's 5, I now stand at exactly 1019 running miles year to date. October was my highest month ever at 126 miles!

I'm counting down, less than 2 weeks until my first half marathon of this season. It will be my 10th half marathon (11th distance race if you count the one full marathon I've done). I think I'm ready!
