L, Oh my gosh, so glad to see you back in action. I'm glad your busy season went well and didn't knock you off the trail. I gotta get my behind back on the trail!!!

free, I don't remember what your goal is for the month, but you are doing awesome!! I just love your "smile myself to sleep" quote. Is that your own? Can we call you gracey?

EZ, a man who cleans the house for his wife gets to add a lot of extra miles to his count as far as I'm concerned. The 10k won't be difficult as I won't be running it. My 11 y/o, a friend of hers and the girl's mother will be my partners. The mother has always been naturally VERY thin (just like her father) so she never exercises. We'll just be walking whatever pace the girls do. 13, that's very young. I hope we can help make a change. Great job this month!!

Baskgal and Coldbright, You two are rockin' it out this month. Great job. I need to get inspired by you!!! Send it my way ladies, please.

Ennay, the average week for you looks like a good month to most. I still don't know how you do it. You send me some inspiration too! Pretty please.

Rennie, Terrific job. All that walkin' is why you can snub your nose at that _itchy nurse.

I'm going now to fix myself a healthy brkfst and then I am hitting the hill for a couple hours. I'm posting it now, because then I know I will "just do it"

8 hours and 45 min of 31 hours

Ran 5 miles this morning w/DD in the jogging stroller. I really prefer going solo, but DH was busy, so it was either bring her along or not get out there today. Anyway, yes, I am halfway to goal for this month, but I know I will be slowing down within the next week. I have a lot going on with DD's end of school year activities, out of town guests, and preparing for our visit with the inlaws accross the pond. I don't even want to think about packing!!! Aside from the fact that my children have outgrown everything!! Kind of hard to buy anthing other than bathing suits and tank top nowadays in Florida! Oh well, enough ranting, we are off to the pool! Gotta work off my runner's farmer tan!

And I did just "do it" too. The dog and I hit the bike trail and walked 4 miles to the neighboring town, had a drink of water and walked back. It's simply the perfect day for a long walk. We're to get thunder storms this evening so it's mostly sunny, a little muggy with a great breeze. I've had nothing but healthy food and am feeling more like myself again. I did a lot of surfing around in the support section today and really am feeling optomistic and upbeat again. 3FC has got to be the single most helpful thing I do to stay on track.
Thanks again to everyone here.
Have a great day!

HI GALS ~

Busy day at work but I was still able to get the dogs out for 3.5 miles before dinner. It was my night and being limited on time I just made a chef salad...had to run to the store for some eggs...left the truck running with the air for my mutts and ran into an old girlfriend I hadn't seen since my 20 year reunion in '92...so much fun...so sad though I had to tell her about an old high school friend of ours that had just passed away last week.

You are all doing great BASKGAL and LOVNMOM way to kick it up a notch!!

Well, I feel really good because I finally got back to working on my goal. I did 6 miles today (jogged three nonconsecutively and walked three) within an hour and a half, so I'm pretty happy. I currently have just over 19 miles done so far, and I've done those all in four days because while I've exercised pretty often, I haven't counted my lacrosse practices or games towards my goal. So I'm almost half way to 50 miles and almost halfway through the month! It's pretty much on schedule since I've truncated my goal again. I'm just too busy to accomplish it because I can't go to the gym enough, especially with lacrosse.

Congrats to everyone who is making such good progress on their goal! Especially EZ, that's really neat that you've already almost met your goal!

Went a 4 mile loop with M today to add another hour and then picked my children up from school and played an hour of tennis. I should really get them out there most days. The weather is right for it now in a month it will be so hot.

Gary, My 25th class reunion was suppose to be last summer, but no one got around to organizing it ( I had done our 20th ) so we're celebrating in August with the class behind us. So far we've only lost one member of our class. Lupus when she was only 28. I feel very fortunate. You are doing awesome with all your miles.

Gracey, You're doing really great too and you're really close to goal. Is hitting goal exciting or scary for you?

Just a quick check in...no miles for me today...left the house at 4:30 and didn't get home until almost 6pm. Angie took the dogs out.

LOVNMOM ~ Bummer...my sister has lupus...she has lived 20 years since it was diagnosed...the doctors only gave her 5-10 years then. She isn'r ever really well, but she hangs tough! Enjoy your tennis...a big sport in our family...not me!

Gracey ~ keep going1 DIXIE'S MOM ~ good to see you SHY smokin'! VIATRE ~ Thanks, but I was at 169 then went back up to 178...a work in progress! On the downhill slide now! Awesome on the miles...I never played lacrosse...a back east sport I 'spose.

Have a great Thursday gals! ~ Gary

3 miles on the treadmill yesterday, plus 2 miles of commute-walking last night and another 3 this morning. That puts me over halfway to my goal with half the month to go. Woohoo!!

(Now if I can just start eating better again... last weekend was rough, food-wise.)

15 6 MILES total = 50miles

lovmum- i dont know it feels weird being near my targey its been such a LONG journey, i was in a plateau for the last 6 months which has really ut a downer on dieting, i find if i am not succeeding it is easier to give up when you are close, just think, oh well this is close enough. I now have my holiday for motivation to get it sorted out, and a potential bikini as a reward but i dunno if ill feel confident enough to ware one.
so i guess im just hoping i actually HIT the goal eventually, it still feels like im at the bottom of the mountain even after loosing near 60lbs.

Long day but did 3 on the treadmill...one of my dogs may have a foxtail in her paw so we didn't go on a walk since she is limping, vet is checking her out in the morning.
