40 minutes of bike riding to the library and back. It wasa great ride alone. It's just over 3 miles one way and I did it in 20 min. Last summer it took me 30 min when I rode w/o the children. Heading out to weed whack now. That'll have to count for my upperbody work out for today!
Little 1 mile walk last night, 3 on the treadmill this morning. Only the second time ever doing 3 miles straight, and it was significantly easier than the first. woohoo!
You folks doing 5, 6, 9, or more are amazing. I'll get there soon!

It does get easier as you do more and more. I was doing 10 miles a day but had to cut back to six because it was beating up my knees.

Been sick the last few days. Feeling a bit better today, so I got on the Tm for 3.5 miles (2.0 running). Lost a bit of my momentum at the beginning of last week, so I am trying to get back to doing this every day. Have another walk planned this evening with the family but not sure how much mileage I'll get in - taking my Nike+ stuff so I can count it though!
coldbright, it gets easier and more enjoyable! You are doing awesome!
Great job again rennie!
Welcome devandra!
Gary, Love the new dig pic. Cute. I've signed up for my first official walk/race. 11 y/o DD and I are walking in the Cystic Fibrosis 10k being held at Henry Vilas Park in Madison,WI next Sunday. Our junior high / high school phy ed coach has a son who was born with CF. You realize how awful this disease can be when a 5 y/o you know spends 21 days in the hospital fighting for breath. We won't be racing, but we'll be having a terrific time. Wish us luck!
cakeses, You're still on track. I'm glad you're feeling better!
cyndim, You're off to a great start this month and have really suuceeded at the whole weightloss thing. A pat on the back to you!!!
Not a lot to report for exercise yesterday. I spent 20 min kicking the soccer ball around with my children and SIL. Our oldest daughter is being confirmed tomorrow. A lot of time has been going into shopping, cleaning, cooking, yard work etc... in preperation for her party. Throw in other things at school and church and I've had a busy week! Hubby and DS #2 are off at Cub Scout camp this weekend. They'll be back in plenty of time for church tomorrow, but that takes my right hand man. Anyhoo, wish me luck. I'm planning to walk, ride bike or play tennis for an hour today. Whichever the kids want. I'll edit and add it if I get it done. Again, wishes my way guys and gals!!
