Mad, it is not an outside bike, it's an exercise bike. It is Sunny Health Cross trainer Recumbent Bike. You can Google it and there are videos showing a woman using it. I am happy with it so far. I saw an ad on TV for a Teeters Freestep and that's what I wanted but it was $$$$ and had too many bad reviews. That led me to this online.

Trish, when you eat out you need to consider if they cook the eggs in butter and add for the butter. DH cooks in butter so I add a tsp. I don't know if butter has points. When I cook them I use no calorie cooking spray. I think all restaurants are required to show calories on their menu for a few years now. I noticed it in Bob Evans and Eat And Park where we go often. I think I saw it at Texas Roadhouse, too.

Wt is back down to 189.6 lower than the 189.8 of last week. This time I hope to keep going instead of bouncing up. I drank a lot of water last night so I am not dehydrated.

The MCT is no longer giving me an appetite suppression like it was at first. It is supposed to help with healing gut issues and other things. I want to continue it for a while because some things take a while to take effect. You might want to increase to twice a day to see what happens.

I didn't eat breakfast this morning. As soon as we got up we started making stuffed cabbage rolls. DH blanches the cabbage for me. I only made enough for us...16 big ones. I made a small amount of halushky with a bit of cabbage I had left and ate some of that. I love cooked cabbage. I hope I don't end up sorry I made this. I will try not to eat too much. Tomorrow is another day.

I am so thrilled from the results of not going over my points last night at Cracker Barrel. I told DS this morning that we can now have 2 choices of where to go when we want to go out to eat. We can either go to the steakhouse we like over here or go to Cracker Barrel and stay on our diet. My weight this morning was still 192.2 and my FBG was 99. I believe that if things keep going like it is that by the time I see the doctor 6 months from now that my A1c will be in the 4s. Makes me wish I had started WW long time ago.

I realized last night that the capri pants I wore was a size L and they are fitting a little loose in the legs and more comfortable. So I am seeing signs of the weight loss.

Carol Sue Yeah for getting back in the 180s. I am right behind you hoping to join you in the next week or so. You go girl. Your cabbage wraps sound good but DH would never eat them. However, I've decided that I'm going to talk to him about casseroles and see if I can get him to start eating some of them with me. WW has some wonderful recipes for them and they would be so easy to make.

Baby sister's hubby got a nice size order of beautiful fried chicken at Cracker Barrel last night. There was so much he asked if anyone wanted some. When he offered it to me (he knows I love good fried chicken), I said "Do I want it? Absolutely yes! But, I don't want to have to pay the points for it". So I declined. Boy have I changed. But I am doing sooooo good with the weight loss right now and I do not want to mess it up.

Fatmad Looks like you are slowly getting back in the swing of things. Glad you have been able to stay in the 150s. As you get back into the groove of things, you will probably be able to get in the 140s soon. You are so good at those longer fasts. I don't know what the diet foods have in it since I usually just check the points. If I scan them in the store and they have more than 4 pts in a serving, I won't buy them. I guess I should be more attentive to what sugar subs are in them. However, so far I am finally have regular movements but no issues. Evidently I am eating just enough to keep things moving which actually is a good thing. For a while I was wondering if I was going to have to take a laxative but I guess what little I do get in the diet ice cream etc is taking care of that very nicely.

Having grilled chicken today with salad and some veggie. I didn't start my eating window until noon today. Someone on WW said they combined yogurt and instant jello sf pudding mix for a treat. I ate to take my Lipotropic and pills so I mixed a banana, yogurt and a little bit of sf pudding powder and that was my 2 pt breakfast.

I am enjoying the new FB WW group I am on. I love interacting with them. I am learning a lot about the plan and what to eat from them and they are very encouraging with each other. A lot of people so not as cozy as our little group but nice.

Hope everybody has a nice day.

Trish, I think you will be passing me up before long. You are, dropping nicely and I bounce a while before I drop. As much as I would like to stay in the 180s that's not how it works for me. I lose very very slowly.

I ended up with 16 cabbage rolls and we have 8 left for tomorrow. They are not as good as usual because I covered them with crushed tomatoes and should have used diced tomatoes and juice. The sauce was too thick. But they taste good and we liked them. I probably ate too much. I don't make any side dishes to go with them as they contain cabbage and tomato, meat and rice.

I love casseroles. Easy to make, but DH says casseroles are for women. He likes his meat, starch and vegetable separate on his plate even though it ends up all mixed together. There are some he will eat.

I just read my post from last night. I did not eat 16 cabbage rolls. I made 16 and we ate 8 of them. LOL.

Weighed in at 190.0. The scale wavered at 189 but settled on 190. Just a little wobble....not bad. I ate dinner at 3 yesterday. Had nothing but water after that. Was not hungry by bedtime which usually predicts my weight the next morning and I'm just a tiny bit hungry this morning. I don't understand why I don't get hungry. I'm still taking the MCT am and pm. But I didn't experience hunger much before either. I do well at eating only when hungry but need to work on stopping when satisfied. I think I'm afraid I will not eat enough and get hungry during my fasting. Maybe I need to let go of the fasting for a while. I may be ok if I realize that I can stop when satisfied and the food will still be there if I get hungry again. It seems I tried that in the past and I ended up eating again because the food was there, calling my name, not because of hunger. I have come a long way with fighting this eating disorder but I have a way to go.

157.5 today. I will take it. Until we leave I am going to stay LCHF and not have desserts, so will not buy ice cream. I bought DH some prepackaged cones, which of course, have gluten in them, so I was not tempted. But it there is regular ice cream in the freezer, it gets eaten.
I have some paleo pancake mix though, and am planning pancakes and sausages for lunch. The key will be not having too much maple syrup with them. I might put a tablespoon into the batter and not pour any over the pancakes so that I get the flavour but not the sugar.
I have some lovely frozen blueberries to add.
The plan is to do one more fast before Monday, and to fast on Monday while driving home.
I am glad I brought the scale with me, it has helped me stay on track. At least I have not gained on holiday.

Carol: I would love to come and eat some cabbage rolls at your place. I just love them. DH does not. (he jokingly calls them garbage rolls) He isn't fond of cooked cabbage at all. I sometimes buy them at a local shop that packages then 2 at a time. They don't have gluten. A little more rice than I would like, but not enough for higher carb so I can manage them. My later father's companion Doreen made lovely cabbage rolls and perogies. I have been thinking to visit her sometime soon. She lives near my dear aunt and uncle, so maybe I can do a trip to see both sometime soon.

Trish; you should be proud and pleased with yourself. That is two NSVs. Your pants getting looser is always a good sign, fat is coming off! and learning to say no is another. I used the tupperware trick a few times when eating out as well so I could order like usual, but not go over points or serving size.
Get the order and put half away into a container to take home. DO it right away to avoid temptation.
Its very helpful for us "clean plate" eaters who have trouble leaving food behind.
I don't usually have to do that anymore, its so rare we eat out and I am limited in what I can order.

Its a rainy dreary day, but I will have to take Buddy for a least a short walk in a bit.

Mad, does Doreen make her pierogies home made? My MIL made them homemade then switched to Mrs T's. I have never made them from scratch but DH has. He likes them with Lekvar (prune butter) and they can't be bought. I stopped buying them because I will eat the whole box. I don't consider the small amount of rice I put in them to be a carb issue.

You have done very well for being on holiday. I have become good at not cleaning my plate in restaurants. I used to take my leftovers to work the next day for lunch but now that I'm not working I have a tendency to eat them later in the evening. Not good! I'm really better off just leaving it. Sometimes I just bring the meat and give it to the dog. I like eating at Bob Evans where they offer many small meals for under $10. It's just enough food for me.

Carol: yes Doreen did her pirogies home-made. I haven't seen her in over a year now. I text with her daughter from time to time.
But I think a visit is in order. I sent an email to my aunt and uncle about getting together in September. I have 2 weekends (3 day weekends) that I am off, but do not plan to come to the cottage, so visiting on the Friday or Sunday is possible. When I hear from them I will call Doreen. It will be easier while its still warm and we could visit outside in the back yard. That would be safer, and easier to distance. If I am 6 feet away I could take my mask off and have a cup of tea. It will still be difficult, she has a hearing aid and doesn't hear well at the best of times. Still, it would be good to see her. She gave may Dad so much happiness and companionship in his final years. Something, that as his daughters, we just could not provide the way friends can. I am glad my Dad had such a rich life with many friendships and activities. He made getting older look good.

We had a pancakes and sausage. I was lazy and made large pancakes, so we each only had 1 and 1/2 and I froze the rest. They reheat well.

We are going to town later, there is a book signing by a local author, so we will get the book and get it signed and have a walk around the town. I have not done that yet this summer.

Yeah, we are all doing so good now.

Carol Sue You beat me by .2 lbs. My WI this morning was 190.2 lbs. I was so thrilled to put that on WW track this morning. They show that I have now lost 17.2 lbs since the end of May. I am so thrilled. Funny thing is that yesterday I had built my weekly pts from 28 regular to 41 and still had 2 lbs left from yesterdays eating. So congratulations on your 190 lbs.

Fatmad Congratulations on getting back down to 157.5. It does help to have the scales there to help you. WW sent me a survey type thing yesterday to see how I'm doing. I realized that I am tracking everything weight, exercise and food everyday and that is why I am doing so well this time. I'm also getting excited with every lb or almost lb I lose as well. When I reach my goal this time I want to be "mindfully in tune" of it so that I don't still have the "fat" mentality. I think that is the major reason I always gain it back. I have thought of myself as still being fat.

DH and I used to bring food home when we went out to eat because DGS would eat it most of the time, but we don't have him to eat it any more. Sometimes when we go out with DS and BIL, I will give left overs to him because he will take it to work the next week for lunch. The nice thing about the steak house and Cracker Barrel, we get just what we eat and don't have left overs because the servings aren't so large especially if you get there early enough to get the lunch order instead of dinner.

I want to buy some new clothes, but I suddenly realize that I am actually losing and that my clothes are going to get smaller. So I may wait a little longer before I buy anything. I like to buy off the clearance site and they do have a few blouses that I just love so I just might get 2 or 3 and I also saw a sweater for winter like I've been wanting so may go ahead and order that too.

Y'all have a nice day.

Trish, you actually beat me because yours was a loss and mine was a gain. I will be waving to you as you go by!! You are doing wonderful!!

I won't have to buy new clothes when I lose. The clothes I wear now were a little snug so they are getting more comfortable plus I have a lot of clothes packed away that are too small. I even have some bras and underwear that are too small. I rarely get rid of anything unless it's torn or stained or just a style I don't like anymore.

Trish: if you can afford it, I think a new piece of clothing or two is a nice way to celebrate losing. I went to my usual clothing store where I buy my "nicer" stuff, and enjoyed getting things a size smaller. Felt great. Even at costco, I found the "shorts" I wear in summer fit better in a smaller size when I lost weight and I was delighted. They are pretty cheap so not a big thing.
I know some people on the fasting chat sites talk about going to thrift stores in the interim, because it does get expensive as you go down.
And I found that at higher weights, there is more expansion. At 189, I was a loose 16 and tight 14, so it depended on the clothes. ( I tried on some 16s, but didn't by any because that is when I started fasting and losing, and was so horrified to see those numbers)
I was a 14 until below 170 tho!. But at 160 I was a 12, and in the 150s I am mostly a 10 but also 8 in some styles, especially when I am closer to 150.
I hope you have some fun shopping, where ever you go!

I am really pleased, I stopped myself from over eating today, and am pleasantly full after a good supper. I stayed LCHF all day. I am still tempted by other foods, but stopping now, going to stay in my window. I hope to fast again tomorrow, but we will see.

I know they tell you not to reward your losses with food but when I was losing years ago the girls at work went for pizza every Friday. I only allowed myself to participate every 5 lbs. It worked for me. I could look forward to having pizza if I lost 5 lbs. This time it's ice cream. I will get a DQ cone once I reach 189 and it sticks, then 185, 180, and so on. I don't know about thru the winter. We got them all through the winter last year.

189.8 this morning. I'm so happy to see an 8 instead of a 9. It gives me hope that I'm going to go even lower once I can get it to stick. I was a little bit hungry last night. That seems to be the key. Doesn't matter what I eat as long as I don't overeat. Portions.

Mad, on a game show yesterday there was a thin young woman dancing around on stage. DH said "Lots of guys would like to date her!". I asked why and he said because she's thin. So that answers one question that he does not like women with some meat on their bones. He never did. He just wants me to be Two Ton Tillie. He's improving a little bit. Once he gets used to me not eating he'll be ok.

Our air condition broke. We called a repairman and he was able to come out the same day and fix it. I was surprised because I thought we would need a new unit. So we only went a few hours without it. Lucky!

Carol Sue YAY!!! 189.8 I'm so happy for you.

My weight was 190 but I expected that 1. I weigh 2 hrs early on Friday and I always make Thursday my WI day an eat more pts day. It will come back down. We are going out to our favorite local steakhouse with DS & BIL later this after noon for early dinner so I will stay within my pts. FBG was 97. I am as thrilled with those lower FBS readings as my weight loss.

Headed to beauty shop for a much needed haircut and perm.

Have a good day.

I get weighed whatever time I get up, sometimes 5 AM sometimes 8 or 9. I don't know if it makes a difference. I drink coffee as soon as I get up so I don't want that to add weight.

Today is casino day. DH doesn't want to go on Thursday anymore. I don't like the crowd on Friday but i dont get a vote.
