Thanks Deafinlysmart! It feels so motivating to hear from some third person! Yeah, I had not seen them for last few weeks... The secret is I run 1 mile a day no matter what!!! and I dont miss more than 2 days a week! Last week I dint miss a single day! I have to get my lower body in shape esp my thighs and B!

Yeah, running is great for toning the lower body! I run about 3-4 miles 2-4 times a week. I've been doing it for about 3 months now and my legs are toned and beautiful, and my butt is higher and even a bit firm. It's amazing how well running tones up the whole lower body, but I love it. It's also addicting and fun, so that's another plus.

Now that I got that out of the way. I do LOVE, THE FIRM!! Its the best excersize program around. THe Fanny Lifter is Amazing! And the Cardio workouts are KILLER!!!! You do so many squats you can't sit to go pee for at least a day! and stairs are your worst nightmare for atleast the first week of doing the tapes. I love the women and love the way I feel after doing the workouts. Anyone stumped on what to do for excersize THE FIRM kicks Butt!:carrot:

hehe I'm large chested too... But a well fitting sports bra makes it all better. I've accidently ran in my normal bra before... OUCH for the back. But with a sports bra it's nice and I don't even notice them. |

Okay, I was stressed today (my husband and I were arguing about money..it's resolved for now). So I was shocked to realize instead of turning to FOOD and junk I was actually doing the opposite (not eating much). That is SOOOO unlike me. I did turn to diet coke though instead of water. Consequently I only got 32oz of water in today. Ehh..tmws a new day. So anways at dinner I did AMAZING! I had lean porkchop, broccoli (with some garlic in it), green beans, peas, whole wheat conscous with ranch style beans (found out I don't like conscous). Although I don't follow fat flush plan or the super foods diet, I do try to incorporate their food and spices. I did a lot of their spices at dinner. At the end of the day I only had 900 calories which is also unlike me. So when DH got icecream that I normally pass up (I wasn't stressed anymore and knew i had tons of calories left so I said sure. Umm..What did I say about being educated before you do something. HA! The joke is on me. It was calorie dense!! I ended up at 1630 cals today which is within my range, but I wanted to be a little lower since I already had a low day and several high days lately. At least I wasn't at maintence calories today.
Excercise. You won't catch me running either. I would say I wish I did, but then people would get me started. I don't wanna. I'm not doing formal excercise right now (on vacation) but I did decide to clean my entire closet. I was lifting boxes, reaching for boxes, squatting, etc. I did this for 3 hours! I'm counting that! P.S. If this thread keeps being this busy, in Sept you may have to name your threads "Christmas Challengers Support Thread Sept 1-7" I'm making up the numbers cuz I don't feel like looking at the calendar but basically representing the first week. |
Hi girls!! When I heard about the Christmas challenge, I was so excited! I have never done a challenge before! I just so happens that my short term goal pretty much coincides with the end of the year, so I am going to join the challenge!! I am excited!! I just hope I can keep up with all the posts!!

laughs@ runnin and black eyes .. oh boy doesn't that sound familiar! ok am lookin for suggestions ... i work in a town about 20 miles from where i live .. consequently i don't have anyone to hang out with or have lunch with or really anywhere to go ..and i hate sittin in a restraunt by myself so i end up just snaggin something at the local Sonic *which is a drive up fast food place that brings the food to your car* and make pretty sad choices on what i eat at lunch .. otherwise i do pretty good during the day over all ... also i tend to drink unsweet ice tea which calories on that are low but i don't get in that 64 oz's of water .. is there a big drawback on that even tho i don't use sugar? Also i have tried taking my lunch but everytime i go to make it my vacuum cleaners *teenage sons* have usually scrounged out all my lunch items .. nothing is safe in the refrigerator! So i have kind of given up on carrying things .. besides same problem ..where would i go eat?!

Wow! My Body is actually craving water!!! Last Night my mouth was so dry I woke upi 3 times needing water, and not just a little water, a LOT of water!
Then this morning my husband and I woke up a 8:30am I had my bowl of Rasian bran and 2% milk :) 300 calories. and got the kitty to the vet by 9:15. Kitty has the ALL CLEAR and is doing great :carrot: Yeah Kittah! We get home and BAM! I need water, so here I am typing and drinking WATER! Its amazing how much your body actually needs water! So here's to being good the rest of the day, I do have to go and get my car done, and do a quick food shopping trip for milk, wheat tortillas, and onions. So my plan is to eat lunch before we go so there is no temptation to EAT OUT!!! Wish me Luck girls :) :hug: Teresa |
I've been really blah with food and excercise. I am going to be really good with food today. I'm planning on giving up junk food. I have been eating a lot of it lately and I just don't feel good. It's all catching up to me.
I am also praying for a loss on Monday. |

I would say try the local grocery store. I'm not sure what your diet is like but for the equivalent amount of fastfood you could buy healthy food. Not to mention the actual shopping takes up some time so you don't feel like your missing out on meeting people at lunch. Most stores do have healthier prepared food which you could eat instore, or you could buy regualr food and eat at a park or at work... |
