Hey all,

I did my running and yoga today! I was so tempted to avoid it (you know, "just for today" excuse!)

Had a lil extra food for lunch but not too extra! I will make up at dinner! Didnt really snack much (just coffee and diet coke). Is anyone else addicted to diet coke like me?

I had a question BTW: how much do you girls normally fluctuate in terms of weight like in a day? This morning as soon as I woke up, I was 146, then after running I was 147.7 , After shower, I was 147 and now in the evening I am 148.5 :?:

Hey willmakeit I understand the up and downs. When I first start I was tempted to weight myself all the time... just too see some progress and got a little discouraged because of the up and down anywhere between 0-2.5 pounds in a day but now I am down to weighing myslef monday mornings. While I do want to know and am a scale addict during the week to see if I blew it with an extra cookie or if my workout made a difference. But now that I have a set time and day I feel more accomplished with a bigger change (usually) and also not as worried during the week. Don't worry about flucuations, it happens to us all.

Hey All............

Willma - I can fluctuate as much as 3-5 pounds in one day, therefore I try to only weigh in the mornings, after I potty, before eating breaky.

my head spins trying to keep up with this thread....

anyway, I have family here so eating hasn't been that great, but I am doing my best! My boyfriend's car was totalled on monday... they still aren't sure if they are going to fix it or write it off. It's just been crazy and eating is only going to get worse. Tonight we are going to the pub I thik for dinner... the only floating pub in North Amercia or Canada or something.... tomorrow I think we are going to the bach exhibition because I wanna see Adam Gregory and Saturday I think we are going to go again cuz everyone else wants to see Tropper. Sunday we are taking a long drive to the west coast to go to the amazing Tofino and the beautiful beaches - come back monday and Tuesday we are going to the other end of the island to go to Victoria... busy busy busy. Least I will be moving lots to make up for extra eating!

Hope everyone is doing well.

I've lost 1.5lbs so far this week and I have TOM! I'm very pleased!:carrot:

Right now I'm doing laundry and packing to go down to Maryland for a 21st birthday party for my husbands bestfriend. We are leaving tommrow afternoon, the party is Saturday and we are getting back Sunday. So I won't be on the boards till late Sunday....I will miss you :D :hug: :D

Ouch! thats not good! I walked a mile last night, but I did it slow and my foot was wrapped up and it doesnt even hurt today. Im going to try to walk another mile tonight also. Ill rest tomorrow lol

I have learned that having a newborn can really cause you to lose weight, especially when daddy is at work all evening and it really takes two hands to fix a meal. Last night I had a smoothie for dinner.

Hey bopis21: What really helped me to go exercise is making some special allowances like.. I only get to read those crappy fashion magazines while I am in the gym or I only get to listen to my fav radio station while I am running...If I dont exercise, I miss these and trust me that really helped. I havent missed a single dfay in last 2 weeks except my break day ofcourse!

So I already did my runnin 1 mile and yoga in the morning,so now I am free of guilt for the day! Had a slim fast cookie bar for lunch (I love these new ones esp the choc chip cookie bar)...

Tree you will be missed, talk to you Sunday. Have fun in MD. I know I had a great time in MD last weekend. I am going to the VA Beach this weekend with the girls.

So hard to keep track of everyone on this thread. LOL I hope everyone had a great OP day.

I did well today. Drank all my water, went to the GYM - just had dinner. Oh- hopefully will make it through the night without too many cravings. Kitchen is closed until husband has to come home and fix himself something to eat. He works too much! Then we he gets home - I feel like I have to go see what is up and graze. What is up with that?

Well it hasnt been a wonderful week for me .. my 15 year old daughter ran away on Tuesday (got her back Wed fortunately) but that really fouled me up .. although I didnt really cheat while she was missing .. I just didnt eat ... I did have some chicken breast that had been rotisseried tho for dinner to keep me going - no skin. I am giving up Jenny Craig (finances) and will be counting calories really .. actually ... its more a case of just watching what I eat and eating healthier and smaller portions. BUT today was my final weigh in on JC and I am down another 2lbs!! Very happy considering the week rofl ..

Yesterday I did Turbo Jam for the first time .. did the whole of Learn & Burn .. not overly co-ordinated and had a couple of moves I just wasnt quick enough to do but I kept moving to keep my heart rate up for the whole time :) Then did the warm up part before I went to get ready for bed (almost midnight) ... then I put the Pilates Zone dvd into the machine in my bedroom thinkin I just want to see what its like .. and ended up doing the 10-15 minute routine .. and OMG .. My ABS!!! OUCH OUCH OUCH .. and here I was thinking they no longer existed under all this fat rofl .. WRONG!! So Im a little sore today ... but will see if I can do a little of the TJ later cos my legs and arms are feeling fine lol .

Better go get some work done .. Happy Day All and stay OP ... Good job for those avoiding those bad moments .. and dont beat yourself up if you indulged .. its a lesson .. learn it .. then move on :)

Back to work this week, school is in. I have been able to stay on my food plan but I have no energy right now to exercise. Ughh, the first month of school is always crazy and exhausting. Hoping the scale will be kind to me next Monday.
