Lacerta Congrats, I have been watching you flirt with 200 and am so happy for you to have achieved this and your other associated goals!

VickieLou You’re so close to breaking into the 100s, just keep doing what you’re doing. Seems to be working just fine.

Newlyn Hope you’re feeling better today. I also have had low bp and blood sugar issues in the past and it is no fun at all.

Follena You’re making some nice progress this month! I’m excited to hear about your Costa Rica trip – a couple of friends are trying to convince me to go with them later this year. Love your NSVs.

Ange82much Hi there! Glad to see you succeeding in maintenance and adventuring as usual.

Ophelia Just saying hello and hope you’re feeling 100% this week!

I have a work trip next week, which means I’ll be up for a couple of days (I always retain water when traveling and it takes a couple of days to get back to normal). I’m hoping to break into the 130s by our holiday party on February 8th, not for any specific reason other than to feel good. Nbd if I don’t, but having an event and a goal really help motivate me to the next level. I’m still looking for the perfect dress for the event – but so happy to be able to go shopping and not get discouraged when I try things on. Have a good week everyone!

momtopands: Welcome back! I came back after doing the same thing -- twice -- in the last couple of months. The important thing is that we keep coming back before it gets TOO out of hand.

Ange: You are doing so well with maintenance...keep up the good work!

Follena: Here's to hoping we both drop back down out of the 170s soon and never have to see them again, lol.

Lacerta: Congrats on hitting ONEDERLAND!!!

Newlyn: Yes, definitely TOM at the helm with the gain...I hope that bloat will flush out quickly for you when it's over!

SnowMama: Hiii! I'm still not 100%, but I think my fight with getting adequate sleep has been delaying my recovery process. A lot better than I was feeling a week and a half ago, though. And, good luck with the dress shopping!

-----------------------

Well, I'm not showing any losses overall for Week Three. That being said, I did a lot of heavy lifting this week at work and didn't hydrate as much as I should have to make up for it, so water retention/muscle soreness could be at play. That, or my body is just doing it's thing balancing out the large whoosh from my first week back last week. Either way, it's still a good two weeks when you take them both into account and stay mindful of the big picture, so I'm okay with it. I hope the scale gets back to moving down again soon, but -- until then -- I hope everyone has a great Week Four!

Thank you EVERYONE for the kind words and congratulations. I'm really excited, too, and I really appreciate all the support I get here. I really think this forum is a big reason for my success this time around, and that is thanks to all of you. I'd also like to thank the Academy, my husband....

ophelia: Your two week average is STILL better than any week I've had. And really, you lost a pound or two, since you said your weigh in a week ago was artificially low. Now you've reached that weight for real. Onward and downward.

Snowmama: Good luck on your trip. Leaving my normal routine and traveling somewhere are very tough for me and I'm sure I would gain for that time. Hard to keep all those good habits when you don't have your kitchen, or your exercise stuff or anything. We'll see you back here as soon as you return though. That's the most important part.

I kind of had a carby night last night so today I'm really reigning myself in and doing some IF. Will likely only eat supper. It's not a punishment ... just a clearing out of my system. And I'll do my yoga before I eat. Have a fantastic OP day everyone

Hello all. Lot's of good news on this thread. Yay for those who reached onederland or those who are so close to it!
I weighed in at 186 even today.
Jan 1: 194
CW as of Jan. 22: 186

That means one pound to go to reach my January goal. I would say that seems easy BUT I fell off the carb wagon a bit this long weekend and noticed it has definitely increased my "munchie" mood. I've got to lock back in to recording everything and that way I will stay motivated and ignore the yummy apple pie and ice cream in my fridge and freezer. Just because I'm depriving myself doesn't mean my kids can't have dessert...even though it is oh so tempting!

Feeling pretty good today. An incredible lightness of being after doing IF yesterday. Today I'll have one huge lunch and call it a day. Then I'll go back to my 3 squares tomorrow. Have a super OP day everyone

0.6 lbs away from 45lbs lost since 4/1/2018! It feels like it is taking me soooo long to get to my next milestone (138), mostly because I focused on maintaining while increasing strength training and cardio. I'm 76.55% of the way to my goal. BMI has gone from around 29.0 to 22.1. Size has gone from a 14 to a 6. I wish I had more progression photos and a body fat measure at 188.

I miss running so much right now, but my ACL/MCL tears are still healing. I'm hearing that I won't be back to running until the end of February, but you should see me sprint on a stationary bike! Feeling strong and looking forward to an easy transition.

Okay, so I already shared the below back story in a previous thread but shout out to Lacerta for sharing these threads that are already established with ladies supporting one another. Below is about me! I look forward to following through with all of you this year in our journeys!

Hi all. I am brand new to these boards. I am really looking for women to jump on here and share encouragement and small progress wins together! I am wanting a positive, uplifting thread of warriors!

About myself: I am 40 years old. Wife, mother of two adult princesses, Christian, new empty nester. My husband and I met 13 years ago. I was an avid runner and gym fanatic at about 155-165 lbs constant. That all changed when we moved to the midwest December 31, 2007. I went from AZ warmth to frigid cold and 12 inches of snow on the ground. Waiting for spring I became sedentary. By the time flowers bloomed I found myself 180 lbs and already poor dietary choices. With in 5 months I became a couch potato. During the past several years I had struggled to lose weight but failed every time to gain it all back and more. Fast forward 12 years to January 1st this year and I was 227.8 lbs. My husband had reached 278.8 lbs.

We decided that day we needed to change. He is following keto and I am a quasi keto gal. Really trying to cut out all processed carbs, sweets, etc. I do have bananas, an occasional Flatout bread, carrots, etc. But all in all, keeping my calories at 1200 max/day and working out 5-6 times per week for a minimum of 30 minutes. All treadmill and either HIIT or incline training.

Success thus far....17 lbs gone! I can't believe it! It has been so easy and without all the fad diets I have tried in the past. Good ole fashioned hard work and healthy eating! My husband is down 17 as well.

What do I want from you? Well, accountability for each other and showing our weekly weigh ins! Who's in? Tell me about yourself and where you are currently.

Jan 1 - 227.8
Jan 8 - 220.4
Jan 15 - 216
Jan 22 - 211.2
