There's the drop I was looking for all week. I seem to be losing all my weight on Mondays right now (or at least that is when it shows on the scale). Got to mark off another minigoal today. I'm now under 90kg. Exciting one for non-Americans, I suppose, especially considering it takes about 22 pounds to move through a kilo decade.

I'd like to be 197.4 by the end of the month, so I could change my avatar again to 70 pounds lost, but if the last 2 weeks are anything to go by, I probably won't get there until next Monday.

Yikes! I only lost 3 pounds in January. Oh well. It happens. Might be muscle, might need tweaks on my eating regime. As long as I'm losing. And I will see the 160s in no time. Have a fabulous OP Monday everyone!

Kdmay5: You're doing great!

Follena: I'm glad that you've been enjoying IF!

Vickie Lou: Congrats on getting back to ONEDERLAND to you, as well!

Snow Mama: You're doing so well, too...hope you're able to get back to running this Spring, but great job on the strength training and stationary bike work in the meantime!

brfoote: Hi on this thread, as well! Haha.

Lacerta: Awesome job on scratching your itch for pizza without caving to eating a bunch of it! As someone else who adores pizza as well, I know how hard that is to do!

Newlyn: Nice post-TOM loss!

------------------------------------

Hey guys! It's finally my day off again, so I figured I'd catch up a bit before getting started on homework and studying for two tests I have tomorrow. TOM dropped in on me a little over a week early, so dealing with a little extra bloat today. (I also hardly drank any water yesterday, so I don't think that's helping.) However, I still showed a 1.6 lb loss for the week so I'm good. Barring some miraculous whoosh, I won't hit my full goal for the month over the next couple of days, but I'm still thrilled that I'm at least back down to where I was before the holiday/family visit gain...about 8 more lbs to go to get back down to my lowest from September now. I hope you all have a great day!

Week Four

End of Week Three: 173.0
Total Loss for Week Four: 1.6 lbs.

Had to weigh in earlier than usual, and had a late, large dinner. All healthy stuff, but a lot of bulk, so I suspect I'm carrying around some of that bulk still. I did eat more calories yesterday than I expected to, but not over maintenance. Super busy at work, so I didn't have lunch, and when I got home, I was starving. But huge NSV, I added more veggies, instead of something fast and unhealthy. Anyway, I expect to be back down tomorrow, most likely.

The weight drop last 2 days is likely because I stopped yoga for the past week. I did yoga for 2 weeks straight in January and it was a huge workout for me. I sweat and breathed my way through difficult poses. My muscles were likely holding onto fluid. Interesting experiment. My plan is to really pour the yoga on when I'm 150 pounds so I can lose the last 10 pounds of weight loss. For now, I'll stick to walking my favorite exercise.

Follena: Way to go, nice end of month drop. I'm a walker too, and for now, I'm sticking with that, and a bit of running. I took an 8 week yoga class once, and it was ok, but not my favorite.

I'm doing the exact opposite right now and going up on the scale. I don't actually have a reason why. I've eaten at a deficit (Monday was high at around 1900 calories, yesterday was around 1500, so varying deficit, but still some). I haven't eaten anything especially salty, and I doubt my muscles are retaining for any reason right now. I have worked a lot of hours the last 2 days, but I'm not particularly stressed. I really have no idea why I'm going up right now. So I'm going to chalk it up to normal fluctuation and just wait for it to come back down.

VickieLou: Haha. Maybe so, but I went the wrong way from there.

Newlyn: Sorry this month has stalled out a bit for you. My scale did that for the month of September, too. If it helps, your average weight has been down each week from the week before, so you are losing still, just at a slower pace and it just kind of gets lost in the daily fluctuations..

gardenerjoy: I made my weight goal, but I won't know until tomorrow if I made my inches goal.

Bonus Days
29: 198.6
30: 199.4
31: 198.4
----------------------------
Total Loss for Bonus Days: +0.2
Total Loss for Entire Month: 6.8 so I made my weight goal

Final measurements for the month
Neck: 14 -> 14 -> 14
Bicep: 14 -> 13.75 -> 13.5
Forearm: 11.25 -> 11.25 -> 11
Chest: 43 -> 42 -> 42.25
Waist: 38 -> 37.25 -> 37
Belly/Hips: 45.5 -> 44.5 -> 44
Thigh: 26.5 -> 26.5 -> 25.5
Calf: 17.25 -> 17.25 -> 17.25

So that is an overall loss of .5 on bicep, .25 on forearm, .75 on Chest, 1.0 on Waist, 1.5 on belly/hips, 1.0 on thigh for a total loss of 5 inches, which means I made both goals. Yay!

I have to post that I did not reach my goal...disappointing. I was one pound off but I didn't record carbs for a few days because with over a week to go I only had a pound to go so I thought I could cheat a bit. Well then life threw a curve ball at me and I ended up throwing my back at and had lots of different medicine (steroids, muscle relaxers as well as antibiotics/cold medicine for a sinus infection) which resulted in me not being able to do the intermittent fasting. So yeah, basically I was lucky to maintain! So I do have the one more pound to lose which will roll into February. Oh well. Live and learn. An eight pound loss isn't bad.

Newlyn: sorry the scale is at a stand still. That can be very frustrating.

Goal was 185
CW is 186
