Finally a night off! I'm very proud of myself since I pushed myself to do my workout at 10pm to make sure I got it in. Today, yet another lowest point. I'm 50 lbs down as of today! So excited! Hopefully TOM won't do a number on me. Fingers crossed! Still picking up shifts and still searching for the right rental. Going to see 2 tomorrow.

I had a stressful day yesterday, didn't get enough sleep, have to go in for a long day today, and weighed in an hour earlier (all of which usually leads to me weighing more, not less). Going to take it as an aberration for now and wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Huzzah, I finally managed to workout yesterday! I'm so happy with myself, it was tough and my butt is so sore after all those squats but I'm feeling great. I expected a little gain this morning but I was pleasantly surprised to see I had dropped 0.8 lbs to 185 lbs on the dot which I'm pleased with. I'm hoping that today I can avoid snacking too much and reach the 184's again tomorrow. My aim is to get an average weight of 184 this week.

Chunk - It's great that overeating doesn't appeal any more for you, I'm sure I'll reach there someday! I remember when I was working out a lot I was the same way, I didn't want to undo all of my hard work.

I managed to do some good things yesterday but also some bad things! The bad - I ate too many grainy snacks to tide me over until dinner. I really need to keep around some nuts or prepared veggies for those moments, I think grains are just so easy to grab and eat and in the moment I'm too lazy to prepare anything else. I also ended up getting a Sprite from the store, because by boyfriend wanted a Coke. I didn't need the Sprite, I only got one because truthfully he was getting something too. Another bad habit I've identified about myself - if I see my boyfriend be "bad" (though for him it doesn't make such a difference!) then I go along with it too even though I never intended to be unhealthy.
The good is that I went on a nice long walk as part of my plan to try and get out of the house more. I took our part time dog to this small nature reserve (it's like a small wooded area between some houses) and back. It's about a 1.8 mile walk and I worked up a sweat purely because of the summer heat! I think I'll keep our walks pretty short for the summer, but once Autumn starts I'd like to start walking a bit further. That won't be for a while though . I hate Georgia summers!
I ended up sipping on the Sprite for most of the night and neglected my water intake because I was Twitch streaming, so I was definitely dehydrated when I went to bed. This morning I weighed at 185.6 lbs, a 0.6 lb gain, so I'm sure it'll bounce down soon! My average weight stayed the same with this weigh in, which is making me realise that I really do work best focusing on my average rather than my day to day fluctations too much. I think daily weighing is great to focus me for the rest of the day, like today for example, I'm more likely to focus to break into the 184's and learn from yesterdays mistakes.
Today I'm going to do another Insanity workout with the boyfriend this time, I just have to be careful because I'm feeling an old knee injury giving me a bit of grief. I feel that crunching around my right knee when I bend down, so I need to make sure I don't aggravate it too much!

So yesterday was apparently not an aberration. I got to keep the loss, and even was down a little more. YAY! I'm actually quite surprised, as the last 2 days have been very stressful at work.
Today is my 4 month anniversary of starting this healthier journey, and I'm officially down exactly 32 pounds in that 4 months. So 8 pounds a month average. I'm really very happy with that.
Yesterday, I was able to increase my treadmill speed some, and went for longer than last time. So I'm now up to 1.25 miles in 25 minutes. My ankle was pretty tired/sore afterward, but is fine this morning, so I don't think I pushed it too hard. I need to get back up to 2 miles (in any time) before I can start walking outside with my husband again, because that is the length of our route.
Hey everyone...we're baaaack! (Thank you for the well wishes for our trip! We had a great time.)
We got back around 4am this morning, and I am getting right back into my usual routine ASAP today. Unfortunately, I didn't end up logging my foods while we were gone, we went out to eat every day, and I barely drank any water the whole visit...especially compared to my usual goal of a gallon a day, lol. So, needless to say, I was a little hesitant to step on the scale today because I obviously knew there would be a considerable gain. I went up 8.2 lbs while I was gone -- which was only for 8 days, so that is basically a pound a day! I'm hoping a good chunk of it is bloat and that however much is real, solid weight gain will come off in a relatively timely manner since I'll be getting back to my day-to-day routine right away. Fingers crossed!
