kelijpa: I find that I don't often agree with the critics either, so I will still give a movie a chance if I'm really interested in it, lol.
wanttochange: It's nice that your husband is doing the 5:2 with you...that will make it all that much easier! And, I hope your move in April helps with your asthma!
TooManyDimples: Congrats on the new low for the year!
Joe: I think my favorites are "Never Enough", "This is Me", and "A Million Dreams"...all very inspiring!
kfunk: My TOM left town early this morning too, so it's a good day for kicking it to the curb...lol. And, I'm sorry yours has been all over the place, too! I know how frustrating that can be while TTC. And, sending more baby dust your way while we're on the subject!
Weigh-in was 203.0 today, which means - now that TOM is gone - I am finally back down below where I was 10 DAYS ago! Happy to be back in the green again after so long, lol. Just like yesterday, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that this means I'm really moving down again. Either way, this definitely put a spring in my step today!

Thanks, Ophelia! I overate a couple days recently, so I'm probably not going to hit goal this month. (I lose slowly even when I stick with my calorie level.) I'm in this for the long haul though so will keep plugging away.
Happy New Year everyone!
Thanks for the thread GardenerJoy!
Goal 5 pounds again
A little scary as that’d put me in the 140s
1/1-153.1
1/2-154.8 yikes, not sure where that came from, sodium?!
1/3-153.6 drank a lot of water, for me anyway...
1/4-151.6
1/5-151.9
1/6-152.2
1/7-152.0
1/8-151.9
1/9-150.4
1/10-151.1 2 down 3 to go
1/11-150.5
1/12-149.8
1/13-149.6
1/14-150.2
1/15-150.5
1/16-150.9
1/17-150.4
1/18-149.6
1/19-150.5
1/20-148.6
1/21-148.9
1/22-148.0 that’s goal! Now to keep it off until the end of the month
1/23-150.4 what did I just say
1/24-149.9
1/25-149.5
We’re coming into that time when people start really forgetting their New Year’s resolutions so to everyone still working on their goals! I’m sure there are people going to start after Valentines, celebrate your progress, especially not giving up
ThanksKfunk & Ophelia! Things are definitely going better. Hopefully the IF will keep those bumps up from happening or at least make them less significant.
kelijpa ~ Very true! I think this is probably the first time I've made it this far with a challenge I've joined. Keeping with the Exercise challenge as well so hopefully my commitment is a sign of real progress this year.
Don't think I'm going to make my goal for the month at this point unless I have a big whoosh in my future. Hopefully I'll get pretty close though.

ophelia Thank you for the positive baby vibes!! I started tracking my temperature to see if that will give me an idea about when I am ovulating... Congrats on getting back down to 203, hopefully now that TOM is out of the way you will have some good days to close out the month!! I think I might try to work out tonight. Thinking that if I put it in writing I might stick to it, hahah!
kelijpa That is such a good point!! It must be so exciting to be this close to your final goal, you are doing amazing!!!
toomanydimples we still have 7 more weigh in days left, I don't think that I will make mine either, but I would be very happy if I could get off 3.4 more which would put me in a new decade.
opheliaphoenix Yeah for moving in the right direction!
kelijpa This is the longest i've stayed on track in 4 years and i'm not stopping!
yangtzer Great job fighting the urge to binge and getting the rest you need!
kfunk6113 Thanks! I'm managing to stay on track and am exited! Keep working, that scale will move in the right direction!
Don't laugh but i've been so focused on just staying on track that I realized I reached my January goal back on the 15th! Hmm..I'm not sure if I should add a new goal or wait until next month.

Chunkah: That's the key...keep at it everyday, despite what the scale says, and it will eventually catch up to you!
kelijpa: That's a very good point...we're all still going at it well into "resolution season". Bravo to everyone!
TooManyDimples: I'm glad things are going better for you!
kfunk: I am the same way! I find that, once I tell people I'm going to do something, I am 10x more likely to actually do it than if I'd just pondered over doing it in my mind...lol. So, I guess I should add here that I will workout tonight, too...I *WILL* do a full hour on the elliptical this evening, even if it makes my legs feel like wet noodles.
Slimmer Me: All progress in the right direction is good progress! Here's to making the most of our last week of the month.
Joe: That's a good day right there...nice!
momtopands: You've been doing amazing this month! Staying on track is doing wonders for you, and congrats on hitting your goal for the month!!
Weigh-in was down to 201.6 today, so finally losing some of that bloat! Which also means I hit my goal for my first DietBet I joined this month, so I hope I get to keep this little mini whoosh tomorrow -- and maybe even hit the goal for my second DietBet sometime in the next few days. I have about 1.2 lbs left for that one, so we will see! Just happy to be moving down again.

I've not really looked at these sort of threads before, but actually it's interesting (and reassuring) to see the bumpy path we have to see on the scales with the daily weigh-ins before the weightloss trend emerges! It's encouraging when the scales haven't budged for a week to know it's normal, and the whoosh should come.
Congrats to everyone - there's some great success stories already this year.
I'd like to join you for the February one
