    kfunk6113 - yes I try to keep my normal day cals under 1200 (which I have more than not. The weekend was bad for cheese - yikes).

    I have been working out for min 30 max 45 min almost every night. It feels good to be back into that mode. I used to work out for an hour every night but I have been out of that routine for years. I'm feeling better about my body.

    I wore my bikini to the beach yesterday and I didn't feel as self conscience as I did the last time. Mind you I am down 6 lbs since I last wore it .... I've lost some of the belly fat I had from my work outs - yeah!

    Well this week is definitely making up for last week. Should have started IF sooner. My goal doesn't seem out of reach suddenly.

    ~ That's awesome you feel better in your bikini. Don't think I'll ever wear one but I will look forward to being more confident when I go to the beach, especially since we go all the time in the summer.

  • ophelia Nice drop, you are very close to onederland!! Great job winning your diet bet!! What were your winnings for the last one that you won? I have meant to ask you this for weeks and keep forgetting.. what ever happened with your gallbladder, did you have surgery or did the symptoms resolve on their own? I hope your hour long elliptical went well!! I did not work out last night, so much to do at home after work, but I did set myself up tonight so that there are NO excuses.. I will do it!!

  • ange82much: It is definitely fascinating to watch the cycles of the body and learn what effects it in what ways, and I agree that it is encouraging to know that - if you just stay consistent - it will eventually catch back up with you on the scales. We'd be glad to have you join us any time!

    kfunk: I got about $45 dollars back from my last one, so $15 on top of what I'd bet. It's not a huge money grab, but it is a great incentive for me to not lose my initial money and then whatever I get back on top is just icing on the metaphorical cake...lol. I'll let you know what I get back from each of this month's DietBets if I can maintain the loss for this one and win the other one, as well. The first one ends next week, but the second one doesn't end until February 7th, I think. I'll keep you posted. And, I ended up having to get my gallbladder removed back in July! That all happened during my little hiatus from 3FC and contributed to me making excuses to take a longer break...then ended up not coming back until the end of September! Whoops. That was a big mistake, but I'm glad to have the gallbladder out (no issues since!) and to be back, obviously. And, I did get in the workout last night, thankfully. I will make sure to do my workout again tonight, since you're already set up and ready to do yours today, as well.


    momtopands: Yes, TOM will definitely mess with you! I'm sure it will be gone in no time once that is all over.


    Slimmer Me: I have no doubts that February will be a strong month for you after this one!

    ophelia $15 bucks on top of what you put in is pretty darn good!! I might go check out the site to see if there is something I have a shot at winning!! I lose slower these days, but it might be the motivation I need to cut out the cheat days I have been having on the weekends! So glad that you had the surgery and it went well with no issues!! Great job getting your workout in. Me on the other hand, not so great. UGH, I am the worst!!! I procrastinated and dealt with organizing the paper mess that was invading my countertops. That took a long time then I deep cleaned the kitchen... oye. I am promising myself that I will workout on Saturday and Sunday no matter what. I wont be home tonight until after 10 and I know I wont do it that late.
