blondie glad to hear everyone is feeling better at your house. I am also looking forward to Spring. I can't wait to open all the windows in the house!

C7KB thanks for the encouragement. I worry that if I give myself an inch that I'll be sliding down that slippery slope and get lost again. I will try to remember the big picture though...thanks

momtopands I've never tracked my sodium but your post makes me curious as to how much I might take in...

Happy Friday!!

blondie That is awesome that you guys are better now!! I am so impressed that you fought through it and stayed on plan when you weren't feeling well, 7.4 lbs. lost is fantastic!! I did very well during the week and am going to keep the momentum going throughout the weekend!! I am down Maybe, it will be the first time in a while that I don't have a huge gain on Monday!

boop I am very excited for spring!! I have been looking at MFP and its very interesting looking at my nutritional values, before I just looked at my macros.

I hope that everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!

BoopChick Thanks - I can't wait for open windows too! Oh and early morning hikes!

Kfunk You got this!! It a battle every single day! I got discouraged at the end of the yea. I had a couple people say they hadn't noticed any changes. I was like are you freaking kidding me! All this work and it doesn't show. My husband brought me back to reality, some people just don't pay attention. Sending good vibes your way for a good Monday weight!!

C7KB Thank you! I got another drop and met my next goal. I'm 9.4 pounds from the top number of the "normal range". So surreal!!

C7KB I hope you feel better soon!!! Great job sticking to your plan even with all the parties and nit feeling well.

Blondie you are on fire!!! The people who commented that you haven’t changed are either completely oblivious or they don’t want to accidentally imply that you didn’t look great before.

Had a good night last night. 170.8 this morning

blondie you are doing awesome! Your husband and kfunk are right. Some people are oblivious. The important thing is you are making great progress!!

kfunk great job!

172.8 this morning. This puts me at 100+ pounds lost so I've met my first goal. Now I'll try not to sabotage myself like last Sunday!

After being on the road for a week, i got on the scale yesterday and was up 6 lbs, i figured some of it was from the sodium so i only had 15 carbs yesterday and got rid of the whole 6 lbs which i was nkt expecting at all so i am exactly where i was last week. I need to be very strict this week.

Boop you are amazing!! I hope that today went well!!

Stlrsgrl43 that is awesome that you were able to rid yourself of the water weight so quickly!! What did you eat yesterday? I like the idea of mixing in a low carb day but suck at food ideas!

Kfunk, i ate 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, 20 raw pecans to snack on and for dinner i ate a ground chuck pattie, cucumber slices and 2 slices of tomato. It was very hard to do. Oh and 1 tablespoon of ketchup. My problem is i am a snacker, its especially bad in the evening. But i pushed through

Thanks kfunk! I kept it in check yesterday and it paid off on the scale this morning.

stlrsgrl43 that's fantastic that you were able to get rid of the water weight so quickly! I eat a LOT of eggs and raw pecans.

Good Morning everyone, I am going to start this week off right, just had an orange and going to workout, I have only reached my 10,000 steps once this past week so my goal is to reach it every day this week.

blondie Glad to hear you're feeling better and i'm impressed that you stayed on plan. Congrats on you losses! And as far as those people that don't notice a change, when people tell me that I remember that they aren't there when I'm trying on clothes that aren't as tight or now fit, and they certainly don't see me when I get out of the shower! Those are the times that really matter.

C7KB Hope you don't get too sick! I will say that I did weight watchers and the Fresh20 several times over the years and portion control is one thing that has stuck firmly in my mind. It does really keep me on track no matter what i'm doing. As far as the chips, I have to measure out the entire bag into servings and put them in sandwich bags. Then I can just grab one back at a time. That large bag is fatal for any control I might have.

stlrsgr43I'm very impressed that you reversed that gain and doing well! You can do anything!

kfunk Boy do I understand the self sabotage! I remember some years ago I was 25lbs away from my goal in WW and went into full on panic mode because I had to drop 2 points in my diet goals. I binged until I came out 30lbs later! You don't have to fall for it, keep telling yourself that you have done it before and you have been doing well and you can keep it up!

boopYou are doing so well! Great job on seeing so much progress! I was very surprised when I looked at my daily nutrients to see how far out of healthy I was with sodium intake. I'll be checking things more closely from now on!

I've been hanging onto the same weight for a couple of weeks now but I'm still happy with my overall progress. I've added a 6th day to my workouts. I did miss it this past Saturday because I forgot to set my alarm and overslept. I made it to work on time but had no time for the workout. I missed it but i'll make it next week. I also found my folder that has all my emeals low calorie recipes and have been assembling my fresh20 recipes to I'm going to have lots to choose from and can watch my sodium intake more easily! I want to lose weight but I also want to be healthy. High blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and heart disease run in my family. I want to be around for my kids and myself. This is what I am going to focus on as I am dealing with lowering my sodium intake. One step at a time!

Kfunk - was on fire..ate a cheat meal, still waiting for the water weight to fall off. Ugh - why do I do this? My husband says, he just didn't notice I had put on so much weight and that I carried it well. Done carrying it, I want to feel good and confident in the way I look. Did you make it through the weekend ok?

Boopchick - Thank you, I'm dang proud of myself for putting on my big girl panties and working at it! Congrats on meeting your goal! Did you get through the weekend without sabotage?

Momtopands - I am dang glad people don't see me get out of the shower! I would frighten people. haha - I had to by new tank top this weekend, I when to put one on under something and realized it was hanging off. Tossed out XLs and bought Mediums. Woot!!

boop Great job staying on track on Sunday, I am glad you were rewarded with a nice new low!!

stlrsgrl Thank you for sharing your menu! I think I might incorporate a few low carb days in and see how that goes. Looks like you are off to an awesome start to the week!!

momtopands Thank you for your support, I can completely relate to that! I have never been so close to my goal before, so now more than ever I need to power through! Wow, adding a 6th day is fantastic!! You are close to your goal, I hope watching the sodium helps gets you there sooner, but you are right that it is way more than a number and health is #1.

blondie I ask myself the same question every time I do it...its never worth it, but I do it anyways. The good thing is that the water weight generally falls off pretty fast. You are doing so well!! It must have felt awesome to replace your tank tops with MEDIUMS!!! My weekend went very well! We skipped our usual breakfast out and I was on plan with my calories. I ate a piece of cake for my husband's birthday, but it fit within my calories (ended up being dinner since I wasn't hungry enough to justify eating again).

C7KB How are you feeling?!
