Thanks kfunk! I can already tell 175 is not going to be my ending point but it is my original goal. I figure it's best to get to that point and reassess/plan my final goal.

blondie I am thinking the same thing about myself. I cant imagine that 140 is going to be low enough to get my body fat % down to the range I want it in. Great plan playing it by ear! You are making great progress this challenge!!

C7KB Thank you!! I did awful like normal... and I was so glad that everything was over but it seems like there is something that pops up every time! Our little boy turns 4 tomorrow and then we have a bday party for one of our nephews on Saturday that is out of town. I also am hanging on to a lot of water right now!!! I did really well chugging water yesterday and plan on doing the same today to see if I can get back to where I was. I have been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs. since October and its time to make some forward progress! I hope that the start to your week is going well!!!

boop Watching how your consistency to your plan is paying off gives me more motivation than you know!! Awesome job getting into the 170's!!!

ophelia you are kicking butt as usual!!

momtopands way to go!!! Great job on working out 4 times per week, that is wonderful!! Are you working on something specific for your eating plan like counting calories, carbs, weight watchers...etc?!

How often are you guys posting updated weigh ins? I think I have 2-3 lbs. of water weight in my total. Every time I get it back up I end up going off the rails and end up right back to where I was!! NO MORE!!!!!!

kfunk6113 You can make it this time! I have always done weight watchers but with all the changing around of plans i've decided to join a friend of mine with counting calories. I can't forget my weight watchers completely though, so i'm still remembering my drinking water, portion control, exercise among other healthy guidelines. I'm only posting my weight weekly on this challenge but i'm trying daily on another. I'm seeing how I like that.

Thanks boopchick! I was very happy that day! Going to keep it up!

Good luck to everyone!

kfunk: I am going to try to remember to do updated weigh-ins once a week on here. I usually start getting bad about staying on top of the more casual side challenge threads without spreadsheets/templates and such a week or two in, because I visit the daily weigh-in threads more often, but I want to keep on top of this one this time around!

momtopands I did WW a few years back and lost about 30 lbs. and have been hearing a lot about the new program, but I am happy calorie counting for now! How did you decide on your starting calorie range? For the first 6 months or so I was eating about 1000-1200 and felt full on that amount, it was very strange! Lately though, I am eating 1400-1700 with the occasional 1200 day sprinkled in. Most days I will eat until I get to 1500-1600 calories even when I am not hungry, so that's not good!

ophelia I am *trying* to weigh myself less, but fail miserably! I have been drinking a TON of water the past 2 days and it is helping get rid of my bloated feeling, although I still am a bit uncomfortable. I had a whoosh like you last night!!

C7KB That is such a good point, thank you for that! Also, I am way less worried about maintenance because I know I have the ability to get back on track until the next event pops up lol. Oh and that made a ton of sense, the same thing happens to me!! I hate posting from my phone so end up just lurking when I am on it, and then I post from work in the morning when I have a computer. I bet you will see a change very soon on the scale, and your consistency will pay off!!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all having a good week. So glad it's Friday!

I have my calories at 1200 with the occasional day under or over. During the week I eat between 1:30-6:30 pm but I do have coffee with light cream and sugar free syrup in the morning.

C7KB I too will always have to count my calories! I get envious of some of the women I see that can have a yummy coffee drink from Caribou or Starbucks or regular pop without having to think of how it computes with their daily totals. Its nice to play around to find the sweet spot! I like to stay below 1600 but also have occasional days where I get close to 1700, but like you said, if it comes off slower it is okay since this is a way of life and not a diet! I hope that you can find new ideas and recipes! I am lucky that I can eat the same things over and over for a long time before I get bored with them. I have been hitting 120+ oz of water every day since Monday and I think it made a huge difference in getting me back down to my low from a couple weeks ago. Have you thought about drinking more water?

boop I try to stick to an 8 hour window, but some days its longer or shorter depending on whats going on. I love IF because I never really feel hungry, and most of the time I actually feel full! It is working beautifully for you! I would love to shorten mine to 5 like you!

172.2

Good morning!

Does anyone else have a scale that measures water, body fat, etc.? I'm considering getting one but not sure how accurate they really are?

My sister got me a soda stream for Christmas and I tried it for the first time yesterday. I love it!

I'm hoping when I reach my goal weight and am in maintenance I can back off on weighing and tracking everything but we'll see. I will absolutely continue weighing regularly so that 5 pounds doesn't turn into 50 while I'm not paying attention.

I've been working hard and am tired today, so I hope you don't mind just another quick drop in at the end of the second week...lol. I'm contemplating a nap today!
