173.2 for the past 2 days. I lost a total of 5.2 pounds last week so if my recent pattern holds, I'll lose less than a pound a week for the next few and then whoosh again. We will see! I think I may have been a bit ambitious with my goal of 160 by March 21st but that's okay. I'll be well on my way.

Looking forward to warmer weather and longer days. More opportunities to be active outside!

Have a great day everyone!

hello everyone, looks like everyone is doing so well. I have been under goal on my calories and completed my steps goal everyday so I am feeling pretty good. I am at 9,000 steps already for today.
Boopchick, I agree with you, I cannot wait for warmer weather as well. When it's warm, I can walk around the lake in my community, it's 4 miles around, a lot nicer than looking at my basement walls while walking on the treadmill.

172.8 x 2 days

stlrsgrl43 you are doing great getting your exercise in. Keep it up!

So it's supposed to hit the 60's F on Tuesday but not before the 3-5 inches of snow we are supposed to get tonight. The weather is crazy around here per usual.

Have a great weekend everyone!

boop It is so hard to predict what the end goal weight should be because the scale doesn't tell the whole story, but you are right, even if you don't make it to 160 you are going to be pretty darn close!! I hit the 160's today for the first time since I was in HS and it doesn't seem real! Your weather patterns sound a little like us in MN! I think we are supposed to get snow this weekend but not sure how much. I am so ready for SUMMER!!

stlrsgrl43 You are rocking it!! I am in awe of your step count before noon!!

I am stressed out about the rest of the weekend. I have 2 birthday parties and one of them involves booze. I always end up overdoing it when I drink and that is why I very rarely do anymore. I am going to log everything that I eat no matter what. They are doing pizza at both parties. I am going to make a GF pizza today and then bring it to the party tonight and will either ask to use her microwave or I will eat it cold. The whole pizza is 740 calories. I am hoping that will help me because pizza is one of my big weaknesses and I do not want to get buzzed and stuff my face all night. I am going to be guzzling water all day and night to help as well. I am also limiting myself to one bottle of wine and have the calories calculated at 450 for the kind that I bought. I have had coffee so far this morning and am going to push back my first meal as close as I can to the party time. What else should I do?!?!

Kfunk, you could always go extremely low carb the day after your parties like i did after my trip and see if it helps.

So I've been tracking and weighing from the beginning but usually do it as I go through the day. I decided to plan out my whole day this morning. I'm not sure how anyone else does it but I think I am going to try to do it this way for awhile. It gives me a clear view of what I'm doing for the day and I tweaked the amounts of some things I had put in first so that I could fit in some raw pecans & string cheese to snack on. Usually I've already eaten whatever it is and if I really want that snack, I'm going over my macros.

See you all in the morning for my official weekly weigh in!

kfunkGreat job getting down into the 160's

stlsgrl43 Thank you for the low carb suggestion, that will be my plan for the day!!

boop I input my food throughout the day, but your idea of doing it beforehand seems like a good way to go!

momtopands Thank you!! Congrats on meeting your goal already!!!

kfunk - hey 450calories for a bottle of wine sounds fantastic! Can you share what sort of wine you've found?! My phone ap takes 135cal off me for a glass, which has really restricted what i've drunk this year! (not that that is a bad thing....)
Were the parties last weekend? How did you go?
I'm off track with the knee exercises, but on track with 2x dog walks per day and a couple of cycles per week (and on-track with eating too). I really should be doing more exercise soon, and love it when i do it, but i'm a bit lazy at the moment and also a bit concerned that when I do more I really get hungry and want to eat much more calories than i'm exercising off.

ange82much I bought a bottle of Crisp White Barefoot. It has 158 calories per 240ml. and 474 calories for the whole bottle (775 ml). I am not sure how other kinds stack up though! I drank about 30 oz. of water in between each glass and still felt hung over the next day. My body just processes alcohol in the most stupid way possible so I rarely drink anymore. The first party couldn't have gone better! I ate 1/2 the pizza that I planned and the only other food that passed my lips was celery sticks and carrots.. the food spread was insane so I was very proud of myself!! Sunday was bad though, I ended up eating almost 4,000 calories!!! 2 walks a day is awesome, the dogs must love that!! Sounds like you are doing a great job sticking to your plan!

blondie Great job sticking to your plan while you had a house full!! You are almost in to a new decade!!

strlsgirl Way to go getting on the treadmill even though you weren't feeling it. How many steps do you usually get when you go on it and how long are your workouts?

171.2 up from Sunday, but hopeful that will come off very soon. I ate 36 total grams of carbs yesterday and that included my gummy vitamins and my morning coffee. The coffee alone came out to 20 grams!!! I did not drink enough water though.

Kfunk; My goal is 10,000 steps a day. I normally walk on the treadmill about an hour then get the rest in during the day, sometimes I will split the hour up like on my workout days when I do the NRLW workouts, I will walk 30 minutes before and 30 after or more if I feel like i need to. Are you asking how long my NRLW workouts are? I guess that depends on how much walking I do and how much resting in between sets, right now I am still on stage 1 so on workout A I am doing 3 sets of each: squats, pushups, lateral pulls, steps ups and prone jackknife. I guess it takes about 1.5 hours or so if I walk for an hour.
